My new favourite tea!
I drink herbal tea every day, so it’s obvious I am a fan. This brand was new to me though so I was keen to try it.I chose the ‘Jewel Of Africa’ box as it sounded delicious and unique.I have tried Rooibos tea previously but found it to be quite bland and in need of a little honey added in order to sweeten it up. This isn’t the case at all with this delicious flavour combination though- it’s drinkable just with the bag brewed in hot water alone. The packaging looks fantastic and original. I love how it tells you more about the teas used in the blend, alongside brewing instructions so that you get the best taste. The QR code is something unique which I haven’t seen before on tea packaging. Once you scan the code, you get immersed into the music. The video takes you on a journey whilst you wait for the tea to brew (The brew time equals the length of the video). It was a chance for me to relax and practice mindfulness whilst waiting. The actual tea is of amazing quality. It’s handy too as you then don’t have to sit and manually time the brewing of the tea- you can simply listen and relax. After trying this tea I’d definitely be open to trying the other blends this brand has to offer in the future.

Tasty, healthy and good quality tea.
I've ordered this Quinteassential Rooibos Tea as it is caffeine free and has plenty of health benefits.I drink rooibos tea on a regular basis, but this brand I've tried for the first time. This redbush loose leaf tea with sandalwood and rosehip looks and feels of a good quality, all dried pieces are of a generous size.Great blend, well balanced.I've brewed it in the glass seethrough jug.It brewed well and has a nice colour. It is refreshing and tasty, one of the best rooibos teas I've tried so far, so I would happily recommend it.It is excellent as an evening drink as doesn't have caffeine, but I drink it also during the day as I like its taste. The taste and fragrance is very specific and unique, so not everyone will like it, but it is definitely worth to try for its benefits.

Comforting and indulgent, with a lovely colour
I’m reviewing the ‘jewel of Africa’ flavoured rooibos and it is definitely a lovely cuppa, everything I want from a rooibos. It has a smooth, comforting flavour, just slightly complex with the main rooibos flavour allowed to stay in the centre, with a slight floral twist. It has a fantastic red-brown colour that’s full of warmth and character. It is a lovely way to relax after a long day, and I could happily drink this stuff by the bucketload. It’s also very smartly presented too. The fold-up card box is a lovely touch, and the inner bag, while it looks like normal plastic, is biodegradable cornstarch. In terms of packaging and branding, they do appear to do everything just right, with one little exception- the novelty QR code on the side, which instead of promising relaxing music, just delivers adverts for the tea company and for wanting to go on a jungle safari you can’t afford. But it’s not the video advert that’s the reason behind not giving five stars, it’s the cost. At time of writing, a box of sixteen standard single-cup teabags costs twelve quid, which is 75p per brew. There are more mainstream brands like English Tea Shop or Tick Tock offering rather good rooibos options that work out at less than half the price per bag, and they certainly are more than half as good. This tea is good, but is it good enough to justify that very high price? Not quite, no matter how good the branding is.It is a lovely brew though. It won’t take me long to enjoy sixteen cups, and if the price comes down, I’ll come back for more.

Very refreshing, floral tea - absolutely delicious
I have never tried Rooibos tea and after reading about its health benefits, and caffeine-free, I was very intrigues to try.The packaging is very premium looking and quite striking. Inside the box, the loose tea is packaged in a plastic bag. Once opened, you smell a very floral fragrance and the loose tea looks lovely with its deep red and rose petals.I brewed 1tsp of tea for 5 minutes using a loose leaf tea strainer in a small cup. The tea was a stunning brick red and tasted delicious. It is very light, refreshing and slightly floral, very enjoyable. I enjoy in the evenings to help me settle down and relax before bed and it really helps with a good nights sleep.

Rooibos is a nice non caffienated tea which helps sleep
ProsNice aroma of the Rooibos, although mixed with other ingredients, Rooibos scent still stands.Several layers on the taste and smell.Rooibos is a nice non caffeinated tea, suitable for those who do not want to intake caffeine, or during night times.Has a nice calming and relaxing effect.Tea leaves and not tea bags, so you can control the taste to your liking.Easy to make, just brew in the cup or pot for a few minutes (depending how strong you like your tea).ConsSince its tea leaves, you need tea bags, or infusers to keep the tea leaves away from your mouth.£11.99 for a bag of tea leaves is more expensive than other teas.Overall, this tea is a great choice to be consumed any time of the day. Although slightly more expensive but highly recommended.

Vibrant, bright tasting Rooibos
The Rooibos tea is really strong, vibrant and clean tasting. No muddiness at all, nice and brght. I drink Rooibos as it is caffeine free and so is permitted on the migraine diet that I follow. I drink it without milk so do make it quite weak. this package will last me a long time as I need only a tiny pinch of a few strands to make a really satisfying and thirst quenching mug of tea. This loose tea tastes much fresher and bright than tea bags which I find taste a bit dull sometimes. Really nice product in a lovely designed box.
