That's not alginate. Really bad quality!
I've used alginate many times and that's not alginate. This changing-color item is really bad quality and useless. It becomes like jelly, dropping a weird pink liquid unce it's settled. It doesn't makes its function properly, and it keeps changing color when you put plaster on it to fix it, like it becomes really viscus again even if it's already settled, like a pure. And the worst part is that it ruined the clay sculpture that I was going to cast. I don't recommend it at all!!
