I am not sure how to rate this. I give this a five star when it works but mine broke after a year. I purchased this toaster in December of 2024. It is very small and this is why I bought it. what I really like about it is that I can put it in a small plastic container to avoid getting crumbs everywhere and then put in my cupboard so that it doesn't have to sit on the counter. I live alone so all I need is a one slice toaster. I really like this it was the answer to a clean countertop. One time a few months ago I tried to cook a piece of toast and I pushed the lever down but it did not lock in place. I fiddled with the dial to increase the darkness of the toast setting and it worked. It worked for months and now months later it is doing the same thing. It won't stay down. I have to hold it down in order to toast. It is now February of 2026 so it only lasted a little over a year. I'm pretty disappointed but it's not like I'm out a lot of money. I am disappointed though but other than that I really like this toaster. I recommend it for somebody who wants something small. I did end up reordering it. UPDATE 3/2026 I ordered a new one of these but then my old one started working again. It dawned on me that maybe there isn't enough weight in the toaster because I cut my slice of bread in half when I toast it to lower the calories. I should have mentioned in my review that this toaster does cook a little unevenly but all I do I put it on for very small amount of time on a very low setting. It pops up then I turn the piece to toast around in a different direction so that it will toast more evenly. Yes this is a cheap toaster but I really like it and I'm glad I bought it.

5.090 people can't be wrong. The great reviews caught my eye first, then the positive reviews about its light weight, the fact the toast pops up high enough, easy to clean, simple to use, toasts evenly. I was worried the cord might be too short, but even that is perfect! I happily returned the ridiculous one on sale that I had bought two days prior at a local store which was huge, heavy, hard to figure out (believe it or not), beeped three times before popping up not high enough, got way way too hot, and toasted unevenly. Needless to say, I love this little sweet & simple Elite Gormet which cost me $3 less. EDIT: RECAP after having this toaster less than a year: I have no idea how it got so many stars because it does not toast evenly, the wires that toast the bread catch crumbs and start smoking, but worst of all, the lever doesn't stay down unless I press it about a dozen times. I am used to having a single toaster for years! Am looking for a new one (which I can ill afford, and it will not be this brand!!)

This toaster worked ok for a while. We used in in our camper so it didn't get used all that often. It is very small which I liked, but it also didn't fit a full size slice of bread, On our last trip I was toasting my bread and noticed an odor. My husband was sitting across from the toaster and noticed that the outside of toaster was distorting in the center! We quickly unplugged it. Then we realized that the plastic casing had begun melting on both sides of the toaster. We threw it away at that point. Won't buy this one again.

Meh, it doesn’t allow you to set the timer for the same shade each time. It keeps changing and won’t hold the proper temperature. You have to time it manually on your phone and set it to the highest setting then manually pop it up once it is done and it is 1 min 20 seconds in my case. It then sends the toast sailing through the air and you have to catch it before it hits the floor. It does work but not automatically.

Nice and compact great price. I use it upstairs for toast in the morning with coffee efficient lightweight does the job don’t need more than one piece small footprint I like it.

This toaster got 5 stars but the slot is nice and wide but it could be a bit longer. It works great for our solar off grid system! You couldn’t be too rough with it as it is a bit light. So far it does exactly what we need it too
