Good reliable shave but buy blades along with them
Highly recommend these over the more expensive brands. It doesn't have to be classy they do the job and they do it well. You do have to buy blades separately but once you mount them in they are secure and won't pop out. I get a really close shave with them with little irritation and their shape will minimise cuts. I thoroughly clean mine and disinfect mine after every use, since i got them 2 years ago in 2018 and they're still in the same condition i unpacked them in. What surprised me the most is unlike other cheaper model the hinge and handle are very secure and won't break. I've accidentally dropped them a few times and they've never had a problem. Definitely worth buying at this price.

Don’t buy if you have a tremor or hayfever
I don’t have much facial hair so perhaps buying a cut-throat razer was a bit like using a ghost chilli in a dessert, and that’s what it felt like. (By the way I bought the recommended razors with it!) It does a much better job than a Gillette, but, I would not recommend if you don’t have complete control of your hands or if you have hayfever. You will finish your shave will less blood than when you started and look like a scared cat had jumped on your face, like in the cartoons.

Looks cool
It looks fancy and has this vintage look to it. Although tried it with a Gillette 7.oclock for the first time it gives the same results as a safety razor but with a bit of extra work and time so if you’re into shaving as a hobby this would be ideal. I will use it maybe once or twice a week when I have free time for a zen experience.

Good cheap alternative to hipster brands.
Fits a half size razor blade with no issues however it is over all a bit stiff so getting the blade in and sat properly can be a bit of an issue however I had been using this over my MoBros one and can definitely say it feels more comfortable to use and I feel like I have more control. Great price too

Easy to use
This is my first cutthroat and I'm very happy with it. I use it to shave myself, but only so far as to clean up the lines of my beard. It's very easy to switch out the blades. the arm has a wide arm so you can set the position you find easiest. It's also visually quite appealing.

You Really Do Get What You Pay For
£6.99 seems too good to be true, and it is. The razor is nicely packaged in a smart cardboard box, saying ‘Made in UK’ - I seriously doubt that at £6.99 and imagine it’s referring to the box itself. Several spelling and grammar mistakes adorn the box too, suggesting otherwise. The pouch with the razor is very cheap, and although the logo is nice, it’s poorly stitched and very very faux. The razor comes with a set of blade installation instructions which are easy to follow, but again, the spelling and grammar leave a lot to be desired. Onto the razor itself. Simply, it’s cheap, as per the price. It’s terribly balanced with a heavy shank that places too much pressure on the face. The plastic handle is a bit rickety and unattractive. The action on the swing lock is sturdy though. At first glance, this looks like a great bargain, but seriously, spend a little more on something that’s well balanced and looks well made. When placing blade against skin, you really do want quality. It’s the blades themselves that are the commodity, not the razor, so don’t buy a razor that’s priced like a commodity! There’s a lot of cheap tat on Amazon, and this is no exception.

Good
Good quality, comes with one blade which is useful if you don’t have any. Quite difficult to insert blades into the razor but I expect this will get easier with practice
