De Buyer 8161.40 Choc Non-Stick Aluminium Round Tray, 40 x 30 cm

De buyer and Mauviel were in the running for my baking tray purchases. De buyer is of equal quality and MUCH cheaper. I'm REALLY pleased with them.

Very impressed with this tray. Despite being quite light, it feels sturdy with no signs of warping after several months' use. Heat transfer is excellent. Can't really comment on the non-stick as I usually line the tray with silicone or parchment, but the couple of times I've used it, it released fine. Before buying, I was a little uncertain that the extra expense was warranted, but now I'm totally convinced.UPDATE Jan 2017: Still happy with this purchase, so I bought another one. There appears to be some confusion about sizes in the listing and comments, so here goes:The one listed as 40x30 is 39.7 x 29.7 and 1 cm deep. The flared edges mean the internal flat area is 37 x 27.3.The one listed as 37.39 x 31.8 x 2.21 is actually 35 x 32.4 x 1 cm. The internal flat area is 32.7 x 29.7.One thing worth bearing in mind is that despite being different in shape, these two trays have pretty similar areas and both fit in a standard oven. So, unless you have very specific needs, the 35 x 32 tray represents better value (half the price at the time of writing).

The quality is great and the tray comes very handy. My favourite tray at the moment .

Solid, great size for my oven, it's what I wanted

I spent some time trying to ascertain the exact size of this item. The listing offers three choices, the description mentions a fourth, different size. I expected to get the size I selected from the options at the top of the listing. ie: 37.39 x 31.8 cm. But what I received was 35 x 32 cm. Not such a huge difference, but it was not what I was expecting, and not what I wanted.I am constantly irritated by listings on Amazon that fail to mention such basic information as the dimensions of the product, but this has gone the other way. If suppliers cannot get the listing right then it should be removed.All that said, the baking tray seems high quality and good value for money, so if you're not picky about the precise dimensions then I recommend it. Otherwise steer clear!

Arrived damaged

Ça c'est du bon matériel ! Le prix peut paraître excessif, mais c'est vraiment justifié. Ne se déforme pas, légère, franchement la meilleure plaque de cuisson que j'ai eue, et j'en ai vu passer des modèles ! Une marque qu'un collègue m'a fait découvrir, de plus fabriqué non loin de chez moi, je recommande à 1000 % !
