The Borrowers (A Puffin Book)

Having watched the movie as a child, I was very curious to read the book as an adult and I can honestly say, I was not dissapointed! Such a lovely read and such depth to the characters. Very descriptive book and has a lot of deeper life lessons hidden within the story. Certainly worth a read for children and adults alike

My kids (5 and 7) and I love this story.

Bought for a nine year old who had seen it on screen and now wanted to read the book, which she did in record time, so I’m told.

I bought this book for my granddaughter having enjoyed it myself as a child. She is now enjoying it having just reached the age to escape into the story reading it herself

Having read the book as a child I decided it was about time I re-read it, and it was just as good as I remembered. A great story for children of all ages. I'm sure Borrowers are living in my house!

I read this book as a little girl and now i am reading it to my own little girl. It is such a feel good book to read, the chapters aren't too long either which is helpful for short attention spans.don't try and line it up with the movie because it is nothign like the movie - apart from some names!

Love this book despite its age- bought for my 9.5 year old grandaughter who loves the modern Japanese film version too

I read this book over ** years ago so sent it to my granddaughter so she would understand why I say maybe her missing sock was taken by The Borrowers.

Lo compré para mi hijo de 7 años. Ha sido un poco complicado para el leer en este nivel de inglés pero sigue intentandolo por que la historia es realmente entretenida. Nos gustó mucho.

Sempre utile il libro

Preciosa edición, de buena calidad y con muchos detalles, contiene un pequeño fragmento de un cuento de otro escritor en las ultimas paginas como muestra de regalo de la editorial, una compra muy recomendable.
