Review: Light and compact system - I am well happy with this product for certain things, it weighs nothing at all, it fits into my evernew 750ml pot, great for backpacking and long distance hiking, however, I wouldn't like to cook a massive meal on this stove when cooking on meths or alcohol, because it doesn't last long, good for boiling water, this is down to the burner and not the stand, but if I was going to use this for cooking food I would consider using it as a small wood burner, you can keep feeding it twigs to get the food cooked, this is why the 4 stars, you have to constantly feed it small twigs which takes up a lot of time that you could be utilising elsewhere. I bought this as a part of a ultra lightweight system I am putting together, it will serve a purpose, but if this is going to be your only stove for cooking and boiling water, well to be honest there are a lot of alternatives out there that are far more versatile, but I do love this product

## Questions & Answers

**Q: how does one extinguish the flame on this stove?**
A: I keep seeing people say you can't extinguish alcohol stoves.... YES YOU CAN! You blow them out like a big candle. Easy stuff.

**Q: can you use a trianga burner in this?**
A: No, the Trangia burner is slightly too wide for this stand.  I have only found that the Evernew titanium burner is the only one narrow enough to fit in it.

**Q: Does the Esbit alcohol burner fit in this pot stand without having to modify the pot stand?**
A: By the time you file the Esbit stove to fit this stand it will most likely leak.  This stand really is exclusively for use with the Evernew Titanium burner.

**Q: Is this merely to hold the pot? ... is it also a wind screen?**
A: It not only holds the pot but it works is an excellent when screen.
