Update 2:I was originally in an email chain for issues I was having related to the sleep functionality on this device. After explaining what happened, the team refunded me for the bay. I'm honestly impressed that they did this, and it's made me take a step back. Whilst this product didn't work out for me, I still think I'd try other Yottamaster products in the future. So if you're looking to buy this specific 2 bay enclosure. Maybe hold off and see if they've done a newer version.Update 1:So the bay has destroyed my data. MFT got corrupted, tried repairing it which "Succeeded" but there's no files. Using DMDE I can see some of the files but a bunch of them are just garbage data now and the file structure is completely gone. So disappointing, won't be bothering with this again.Original Review:So I have a 4 bay and 5 bay Yottamaster Das which I've been really happy with since I bought them about 2 years ago. I recently thought I'd give a 2 bay Orico DAS a try as it was £99.99, however the fan started to give out after a couple of weeks, causing it to be both noisy and bring into question how well it would be able to cool the drives for the future. A 2 bay Terramaster looked intriguing, however most of the design is made from plastic and the exhaust fan has huge gaps which allows for a lot of noise to escape and makes me wonder if something could fairly easily fall in and block the fan. Anyhow, Yottamaster hasn't failed me yet. I'll be running this 2 bay none-stop for the foreseeable future, so I'll be curious to see how well it works a few months down the line. The Quality as usual is amazing. The body is solid aluminium, the trays are solid. My only gripe with the trays is that the screws provided aren't always the best to fit into some of my drives, although I've sometimes felt comfortable only having 2 screws in at opposite sides. The fan is quiet and drive noise is the quietest I've experienced, likely because the unit is very well contained and doesn't have many gaps (apart for airflow). Would highly recommend this!

Was working fine for a couple for about a week and then decided to corrupt one of my drives and format the other to RAW.PLEASE DON'T BUY THIS IF YOU VALUE YOUR DATA!!
