sodastream Soda Press Organic Ale Flavor Mix, Ginger, 16.9 Fl Oz

Grapefruit soda is my absolute favorite soda.This stuff tastes like bootyhole.

This product tastes pretty good and it's a nice alternative to soda concentrates that are full of sugar or alternately full of artificial non-nutrative sweeteners like acesulfame, saccharine or sucralose. This uses Monk Fruit extract as a non nutritive sweetener. Jury is still out on whether that is actually any better but still..However my main concern about this product is that the bottle label tells you to dilute it 4:1 with carbonated water which means that each bottle of concentrate makes just six and a half 12 oz servings. That is not very concentrated. In fact given the cost I probably would not have purchase to this product if it had been correctly described in the Amazon listing. Reading the label on the bottle I went back to the listing to see if I had missed something but actually no. The listing clearly indicates that the product is to be diluted with six parts of water. 6:1 is still not very concentrated compared to sodastreams traditional soda concentrates but it is more concentrated than a product labeled to be used at 4:1.As I said I rather like the product but it was misleadingly described. I do think it would be better for everyone including the environment if they just made this product more concentrated in the first place. Given that it doesn't have a lot of sugar in it or gum components I don't see why this could not have been made to be used at a 20:1: dilution which would mean shipping me a lot less water or a much smaller bottle.

I chose this Ginger Ale mix because the ingredients were more natural. I've made my own ginger syrup so I know how this "should" taste, but this has a bad flavor. It has a chemical taste to it. I can't make it out. I do not recommend this product.

I love he Sodastream Zero pink grapefruit so thought I would try this. Money wasted! This tastes awful! Has a chemical odor when you open the bottle and has the same taste. Simply awful. Don’t waste your money

We love Kombucha (in most variations) so we were looking to be more cost efficient and give the sodastream a try and purchase these Kombucha concentrates....because, based on the math, definitely saves money... Just not worth it.My main issues:*To get any decent amount of flavor and not feel like its just straight up watered down flavoring, you do have to put in maybe 1.5 to double the recommended amount per liter, so there goes my cost savings.*The flavor itself is probably the equivalent of mixing apple cider vinegar with water and knocking that back (no joke, I used to be on that morning routine, tastes INCREDIBLY similar to ACV.I thought this would be great.... kind of disappointed and hoping maybe some other product comes along to give me that flavoring/texture without the expense.
