Fantastic book for kids and grandparents
Our 11 year old son devoured this book, and then spent an entire car trip reading out amazing facts to us. His grandfather’s and uncle’s birthdays were both coming up, and usually stumped for gift ideas, we sent them copies too. They loved it! Some really unusual facts in here that will surprise anyone!

love trivia!
I get almost every trivia book offered on kindle unlimited. This one actually has some facts I hadn’t heard before. Always a good thing for me to see the author has done some real research!!

QUANTITY INSTEAD OF QUALITY
I would have preferred a little more information about 300 topics rather than 1 sentence about 3000 subjects. I gave up about 1/3rd thru the book.

ridiculous and hilarious: typos, contradictions, repetitions, and more
Here's a small sample of the most idiotic "facts" in this compendium of poorly written and barely edited inanities:"The South American capybara is the world’s largest mammal, weighing up to 150lbs." {it's the largest rodent, not the largest mammal, on land or in the water}"There is a star in our solar system called Antares, and it is 60,000 times larger than the sun." {Apparently our solar system now has two stars, one of which engulfs our planet. Antares is in our galaxy.}"Thunder is the sound caused by lightning, but we hear them at different times as sound travels faster than light."This last one speaks for itself.Similarly ridiculous statements comprise about a fifth of the book. I got the impression that the author wrote the book over a weekend to make a quick buck, and that internet message boards, social media, and Reddit are the primary sources for most of this atrocity of scholarship and the English language. Read it only if you want a quick laugh or to feel superior to the imbecile responsible.

terrible
This book is not well written and seems poorly researched. Example: a 20 ft tall 2 ton bald eagle? Really? There are many other “Amazing Facts” type books much much better than this drivel.
