I was looking for a good setup to replace my TP-Link Omada and this fit the bill.
I was hesitant to buy these, as I have dealt with some older GrandStream phones and they were junk...but I watched a few reviews on youtube and decided to give them a shot. They are awesome. Build quality is very good for the slot they are fitting into between Enterprise and Pro-sumer gear. The setup was super simple and the interface is quality UX design, easy to navigate and nothing you don't need. They offer a cloud based management solution, but I opted for the Main AP as controller scenario. Wireless coverage, stability and quality were excellent. I combined two of the indoor 4X4 APs with an outdoor 4X4 AP for my garage. Everything has been excellent, no issues to speak of.

By far the BEST access points I have ever had the pleasure of working with
My first real introduction to access points was aruba 503 and 505H models at work (Network Engineer). I have used Aruba,Cisco,Tp-link,Netgear,Ruckus(very old models), xclaim,mikrotik.... (I'm not bashing mtik, I love it, for the right tasks). But these grandstream access points (all wifi 6 models) are simply amazing.I found these because I was looking for something with integrated controllers like aruba instant, without the aruba price tag. What I didn't expect was a product that exceeds aruba and every other access point I have used in every category except 1.... they don't make enough! I want to see wifi 6e (coming soon) and wifi 7 from grandstream!Every aspect of these work flawlessly, ever. Single. Time. You press save, and 1-2 seconds later the light is flashing... changed committed... every time. There is never any wishy-washy junk to troubleshoot... issues adding to the cloud portal, changes not committing, non responsive devices, failed updates, wifi stability. It's all rock solid. I have 99% confidence that when I pull out a gwn ap and scan the barcode, then plug it in, that if my network is working right, it WILL come online and start working every time. I am trying to phase grandstream in at my job for our temp offices because of the huge amount of time I save working with them vs aruba. It's very common with our aruba fleet that I plug them In and have some issue... they won't join the instant mesh, need updates, web ui is borked. It just wastes time, money, and people have far more complaints from aruba served offices than grandstream services offices.Disclaimer: I only use the cloud management system now. It's free, unlimited, and works flawlessly and makes sense to use. The gwn web ui is also very usable, but the ease of management for multiple sites with the free cloud has won me over.Buy them! You won't regret it!

Constantly crashing. Upgrading the firmware helped but did not resolved issue
A new device joins, or a I try to move lots of data over my network, or a do a speed test and it crashes. If I am hardwired in I still have internet. SO its definitely the access point that's having issues. Its not every time but enough that's its unusable. Looks like it ships with firmware where this is a known issue (but they do not tell you that). Upgrading the firmware helped but did not completely fix the issue. I thought i was fixed but my Wife came home the other day and 20 secs after she came in....... It crashed again. I am sending it back and looking for something else.

BEST Wifi AP
I have been using Eero's for my wifi for several years, but I live in a very congested neighborhood and needed to start changing some settings to get better coverage, less signal noise, etc. I can't remember how I ended up trying one of these GWN7664's, but it is by far the best AP I have ever had the pleasure of using. (And I've used a LOT over my 25 years in IT) The amount of features is way beyond anything else, hardware is very solid and beefy, cloud software is so easy to navigate, quick and makes sense, not patched together like others do. It has been 100% reliable for a year now. Support has been quick to answer any questions, and regular firmware updates are sent out. And only $150 for a 4x4:4 ax access point? Grandstream, where have you been all my career with these??!!

Excellent upgrade to my home network
Had three old Asus units running in my house for over 10 years that were starting to fail, and that were way behind speed wise. I also have a lot of IOT devices on wifi that I wanted to put on a separate VLAN, which the old units didn't support but these do. The Grandstream units were very easy to set up, and have worked flawlessly. Running three of these now and coverage throughout the house is great. Plan to add an outdoor model this summer to improve outside coverage.
