I am a great Fan of this Product
Great product! now i don't have to rely on the girls turning on the fan or opening the window (they wont open it because "its too cold with the window open"), the humidity sensor starts the fan and the adjustable timer helps clear the moisture.

Disappointing extraction rate. Disappointing noise level. Expensive for the performance.
Used in a small bathroom ceiling, it has a short run into the loft and out through the soffit, maybe one meter length, with ducting trimmed down to size.Fitting would have been far easier with the appropriate hole saw, but I managed, eventually, with a jigsaw. Also worth noting the importance of that extra 10mm diameter to cut in order to make room to secure the ducting. I had to revisit my soffit to enlarge it when I left no spare room around the grill.Unfortunately, having fitted it correctly, the extraction rate seems a bit feeble, although I have no way to measure or compare performance with anything else. There is still more mist and condensation in the bathroom than I was expecting. Ultimately it does work, but it is slow. It is also far noisier than I expected. Again, not measured, but quite noticeable outside the bathroom, never mind in.All in all a disappointment, with the pricing on the high side in my opinion. I guess much of the cost has gone into the controller/timer/humidistat, which has no bearing on extraction rate or noise. At least that component works as expected.

Great product!
Great neat extractor fan, easy to install. At first I was a bit confused why it needed a pull cord, but it can be hidden in the housing and the humidity control works by itself to switch on and off the fan.No need to attach to light switch ring either (although it can be controlled through the light), just put through a fused 3 amp switch to the main 6 amp RCD ring.

Its just ok.
I purchased this fan months ago and waited before leaving a review as it had some questionable reviews on here and my verdict is it's just ok. Mine has the humidity sensor which I don't bother trying to set as it seems unreliable. I just set the overrun timer which I find much more useful. The pull cord has a plastic connector quite a way up the cord which snapped. I wasn't even pulling very hard on it as it tells you not to! The iris clicks loudly every time it opens. I don't know why exactly, but I've given up trying to fix that. I should have bought an inline fan to fit into the loft instead.

Modules sometimes don’t work
Only after three months the shutter stopped closing properly, I obtained a replacement clip easily but this did not solve the problem. Called customer services but they did not know what was causing the issue. A week later the module blew.My friend had purchased the same fan, her module did not work from the start. Customer service sent us both new modules and these seem to be working fine. They advised not having the humidity setting too low or the fan will remain on too long, why bother giving you the option to change the setting to low then?Overall nice looking, good customer service (with 3 years guarantee) but not great quality.
