Boom bar
Really good product for its price, works really well and easy to assemble.

Flimsy and lightweight
Yes, it's a tiny fraction of the cost of a proper boom arm. But it's really not a great piece of kit at all. Massively flimsy and bendy plastic parts that don't lock into place, cheap metal that bends under even the smallest amount of weight. Let me down badly on a shoot. (All I wanted it to do was hold a small lightweight LED panel up high)

no sandbag and no hook included.
The media could not be loaded. Unfortunately, not all items are included. Very disappointed. Wanted to use it this weekend and now should find sandbags, etc

Cheap, cheerful - I use it for overhead smartphone photography!
I use this arm to shoot overhead (top-down) videos on my smartphone. More details on that below*, if it helps you. Otherwise...Pros:- It has a metal 1/4 inch thread on the tip, which is useful for attaching various accessories- It comes with a free empty weight bag (which you fill yourself) and karabina clip to attach it to a hook at the end of the boom arm- It's cheap, lightweight and good for indoor useCons:- It's cheap and it knows it- It's a little flimsy. The narrower half bends a tiny little bit (with weight of around 200g attached to the end) when fully extended.- The plastic clamp connecting the arm to a stand will undoubtedly crack if you over-tighten it, so treat it like you'd treat a little baby kitten...- I wouldn't trust this outside without a good weighted-down baseFYI - I bought the single clamp version, but the double clamp would be more stable. Go for the double clamp.*Overhead (top-down) smartphone setup, if this extra info helps anyone -I found boom arms designed for DSLR cameras to be too short and expensive; and camera tripods to take up too much floor space, cost more, and often be too short for overhead video. If you want to plagiarise my lifehack, you can set it up like this:1. Attach the boom arm to a lighting stand (link below). You don't need any extra fittings - the boom arm comes with the clamp.2. Attach a clip-on smartphone mount (link below) to the boom arm, face down, or screw one to the end (link below)3. Attach counterweight as needed, because fo' sho' that baby gonna toppleIf I want to shoot standard, straight-on images, I simply flip the boom arm to vertical position and lower it.For info, my phone weighs 188g (iPhone 7 Plus). So, anything around 200g should work just fine. Here are the products:2m stand: Phot-R Professional Photography 3m Adjustable 3-Section Photo Studio Lightweight Aluminium Light Stand Handlebar smartphone mount: Anti Shake Phone Holder Bigo Universal Smartphone Holder Bicycle Mobile Phone Holder Motorcycle Mount with 360 Degrees Rotating Cover with Click Function, Adjustable for Smartphones other GPS devices 1/4 inch thread smartphone mount: zacro 360 Degree Rotation Mount Holder with Adjustable Clamp - Used on Tripod / Selfie Stick for Photography - Black

Sturdy frame, poor security
So the overall product is great, will work for my Greenscreen as that's the purpose of it. However, the security bracker to attach it to a tripod is very weak the plastic handle to raise, lower, secure the arm is flimsy and the cap has already snapped despite not actually using the greenscreen yet, whilst the item is still secure I no longer have freedom of movement without removing the clamp handle entirely. Good product shoddy build.

Item is good but only sent 1 out of 2
If you’re looking to buy this, it’s pretty solid but have to give a low review as I ordered two and only one showed up. I checked the page and it’s still in stock so who knows what happened there!? Anyway, waited two days and nothing so I’ll get another from someone else which is all probably the same store under another name anyway 🤦🏻♂️ in short, it works just fine.
