Cool Concept but Ambiguity is a Problem

Defective - lock doesn’t unlock
Well the concept of this game was super exciting and we liked how there were multiple scenarios. After buying as a birthday present and numerous adults trying to unlock the lock and looking at reviews to validate the correct answer the lock still doesn’t unlock. Thank goodness we didn’t put our phones in. Super disappointing and it seems like the lock is faulty. Returning this item.

Fine set of puzzles but not great for collaboration
Received this as a gift for Christmas - it’s less of an escape room and more of a series of riddles and logic puzzles you have to solve to ultimately get the code to unlock the lock. We found it difficult to do it in a large group (even though it recommends a minimum of four people) because some of the questions are visual and printed on a small card, so it’s only really worth one person trying to solve it at a time. And as others said, some of the questions were ambiguous or had multiple potential answers so we had to just go through multiple tries until we got the right answer. On the flip side, many questions were extremely easy - with the person reading it getting the answer almost immediately, which made it feel like less of a collaborative experience. If you have one person playing who is good with riddles/word problems then they could easily just end up answering everything themselves. The math required to get the final answer is also a little convoluted and easy to mess up. I like the concept of locking your phones away and having to get them out - but I think there could be more effort put into making the puzzles/process truly collaborative, and creating more challenges that require creative problem solving.

Hours of fun
Five of us played this game at Christmas kept us entertained for 2 1/2 hours. Questions were not difficult but did require some working out which we all thoroughly enjoyed. It was nice to do a family game. Everybody could take part and not be able to look at their phones at the same time!

Xmas gift
Bought for a teenage nephew. Kept him entertained for about 9 minutes before he got bored and went back to his tablet. #kids..

Game for family and friends
Funny game, my son and his friends love it. I bought it because my son likes to spend a lot of time on his phone. This game helps to decrease it, because to have your phone back you need to play and answer questions and think. The are cards with Problems, Clues and Solutions. Once all 4 problems cards are solved you can find a digit for the combination lock. It is interesting to play not only for children but for adults too. And of couse it is a good present.

Best game by far
This was a great game, everyone heavily invested in the game to get their phones back!!! Lots of fun, laughs and arguments on the way! BUT!!!! Don’t lose the code they give you!!!! Brilliant fun!

Lock code didn't work.
Didn't realise you could only play once and when we found the lock number it didn't work so solution wasn't correct. Really disappointed.
