Would this be ok for a heavy battery powered chain saw like the Oregon 16"

we have used petrol and electric chain saws on thisfantastic piece of equipment. I wish i had bought it years ago! However i have not tried a battery chain saw on it BUT it is very sturdy and i can see no reason why it would not work. My only criticism of it is that it is a shame it does not take bigger logs.

Can it be adjusted to suit left handed people?

Yes it's quite simple, remove a black cap from the top of the left leg ready to replace in the right leg. Then all you need then is a set of allen keys and spanner to reattach the universal fixing the opposite way around for the chain saw.

What would be the largest diameter of log that you could cut? Thanks

Depends somewhat on your chain bar - an electric saw with a narrow bar will give a bit more clearance as will mounting your saw higher in the clamp. In any case 8" (200mm) should be possible on a reasonably clean straight log.

what is maximum size log it will take?

I think it tells you the weight the logmaster will take and I have put what I call large ones in it. suffice it to say that it is a brilliant piece of kit that I wish I had bought a log while ago. it enables you to safely use the saw and hold the log.
