Right out of the box you feel the quality and workmanship. Regretfully my only complaint is there is no availability for bigger sizes. It's uncomfortably tight which assume is my too large head. Kidding aside I have it s try for a day and it loosen, but wish they offered large hat sizes. I'm considering another in different color.

I'm glad for the fit, which was worrisome prior to arrival, but particularly for the soft cloth texture -- a blending of wool and cotton with polyester, acrylics, and nylon to achieve comfort as well as structure . . . to which I presume I might add durability after a while. I have worn the style on-and-off since a teenager, with fond memories of leather and polyester versions, so my pleasure in this cap was immediate. Though a codger, it qualified me again (according to my 7-year-old grandson) as a "hipster" even though neither of us is sure exactly what that is.

This is a great newsboy flat cap. The six panel cap is the way to go!! The cap fits well. I got the regular and not the large , and it fits perfectly. I usually wear a medium to large fitted baseball cap. This cap has a string in the inside to customize the fit. The lining is a plus because it keeps your head extra warm and from itching from the wool. I really like the fit of this cap and should serve me well in cold weather. Give it a try the quality and look is great.

I bought this hat for my boyfriend for Xmas. I had been looking high and low for a good "winter" newsboy to compliment his tropical weave Kangol. A lot of the winter/wool newsboys have a different in the cut that is wider and goes lower in the back that just isn't flattering on him. The Kangol wool newsboys were all too expensive and I didn't really like any of the colors or patterns. This hat was perfect - a nice knit pattern, classic neutral grey, wool blend with some warmth. He's worn it every day since Xmas and even kept it on in the house on a couple of really bitter winter days.Also, he normally looks for hats in size Large - this one was perfect at full expanded size. A teeny bit snug when he first put it on but "broke in" quickly and is comfortable.

Great hat, fits a bit tighter than I like but I also have a larger-than average head (not sure what my official head size is but I remember back in the Navy I wore a size 7 1/2 hat (the white one we called the Dixie Cup, though I have long forgotten what its actual name was XD) when the average guy would wear 6 3/4 to a 7 1/4 hat. Still comfortable enough to wear and I like the look.Only improvement I would recommend is if they could figure out a way to include an inch or so of size adjustment without ruining the look or the overall fit and it would be perfect. More colors would be a boon too. Great product if you like this style of hat, would recommend!

In my late 60s I've decided to quit ball caps. At this age they just didn't work for me. I've been wanting to tri Irish Driver Caps for years so I purchased a wool blend gray one. Turns out I love them. They are soft, warm, comfortable and on older men, I think, they look the part. The quality seems to be very good. This one has a little size adjustment that works well. I'm happy with the change.

I have a shaved head so winters can be tough when I'm trying to be dressed up and my usual beanie won't due. This hat does great keeping me warm while still looking the part and being comfortable, too. My only suggestion would be to get a solid color. I got one with a plaid pattern and the lines don't match up at the seams, so it looks a little awkward.

I love this hat like I said I purchased a second one to make sure that I didn't lose the manufacturer or the person that I bought it from somewhere in the ether It's a beautifully warm hat It's well constructed It's good looking It fits right and I've got a fairly large head again I bought two that you tell you enough, right?!
