Hi, When you remove the outer ring on the camera to enable this to be screwed on, does this expose the lens barrel? Im worried about dust getting in.

Hi I've just looked at my camera can't remember how it fits but the clear glass filter remains...it's excellent value for money and remains trouble free.

will this fit FZ300 ?

I looked at pictures of the FZ300 and from what I can see there is nothing to hold this this device in place. I would say in that this would be unsuitable for that camera.
