Seat Restraint Universal Dog Seat Belt Restraint

I was very pleased with the restraint as my dog has chewed through my car seat belt! It has a choice of three fixings and one went nicely into our car seat fixing. The other end had enough room to attach to the dog collar without out causing discomfort. However, the dog was only in the car for five minutes and he managed to chew through the lead. Not advisable if you have a young dog who chews.

Used this periodically when needed to have a dog or 2 on the back seat if I had dogs in the boot too. Worked in my Volvo XC60, though not sure which of the 3 connections it was. I think I now need another as cant find mine! So will definitely recommend and buy again!!!

Bought this alleged universal belt restraint.None of the 3 metal clasps will go into any of my rear seat belts on my Kia Sportage.Basically it's useless to me.Ridiculous statement to say it's 'universal'.

Brought this as I'd changed cars, and my previous restraint only had one fixator that wouldn't fit in the seat belt. Thought I couldn't go wrong with 3 fixators, but none of them fit. Sadly disappointed

This item is brilliant if your dog likes to travel on the seat. My Yorkie is safe and secure and although has restricted movement he can sit, lay down easily and turn around. I would recommend buying a harness which is more comfortable than a collar.

I have used this in two different kinds of Fiestas and in an old Mondeo by attaching it to a dog's car harness, and with two different dogs and both seem to find it more comfortable than when the harness handle is looped around a seatbelt as instructed. I have also found that when using this attachment the dogs have not got themselves in a twisted muddle when having turned around such as to look out of a window. I have not been in an accident with them but it feels strong enough to prevent them flying about in the car.

Purchased for my parents as mum is in a wheelchair now my dad occasionally has to take the dog off to the vets on his own, at least this ensures he can keep his eyes on the road and not worry about where the dog has got to. Personally I have used one since having my dog but it has been something my parents had failed to recognize as a essential piece of equipment until now but they have begun to appreciate its value it seems strong and is easy to use.

Doesn't work on my middle seat belt which means I can't have a passenger and dog at same time so not much use
