I got this out of the local library with a thought of purchasing it. Uh, no.There are a few nuggets in here, but very few.The presentation is stilted.But, most annoyingly, I think this is a big book of just a few houses photographed from many, many slightly different angles. Nothing new is actually presented with repetition like this. You'll see the same Joni Mitchell lookalike print, some other artwork, soft goods, the same dang chair, and so on and so on. Shooting the same room from the other end does not make it deserving of going into a new category.Enough already, too, of the stacks of white edged magazines and bags used to decorate planter pots.

public library. No purchase. Good book. Fun interior design ideas. How to make your house a home w/o breaking the bank. Mr. Jason Grant has a flair for this sort of thing. Very creative and imaginative man. Worth your time.

I am returning this book because, although great photos, that's basically all it is. No info on makes, how to source items, what they may be worth, where to fine stuff etc. Very disappointed - also, when I opened the package, the strip you tear off had the back stuck to the edge of the book spine! I have left it there for |Amazon to see.
