Let me start by saying, THESE PLATES ARE LEGIT. Bought these for my home garage gym to upgrade from my old school iron plates, and they're probably the best quality for the cost out there. Going on two months strong now with almost daily use - deadlift, squat, bench press on a 1/4 thick 10x10 workout mat that contains my power rack, bars, bench and dumbbells. While I haven't been "trying" to beat them up, I can't say I've been easy on them, and so far still looking like brand new. I've even thrown them around a bit during weight changes and they've bounced from my rubber mat to the concrete floor - no scratches/damage.Of course there will be some rubbery smell when you first open them, as well as the light oil coating, etc.. but this is to be expected of anything made of this material and coming to your door new/sealed from production. Can't detract for that, c'mon people. Give them a quick wipe down with a microfiber cloth, then keep them outside for a few days and you're good to go. I will be buying additional plates in all sizes to complete the set. Thanks for a quality product! - JB

Bought this whole set for Christmas. These weights are awesome! Very well put together and I love the splattered paint look.

Their customer service was very responsive, but if you decide to return these plates you will have to pay to ship them back and you cannot drop them off like you can other products. Shipping 160lb can cost you almost as much as the plates themselves.The plates came oily, I washed them with soap and water but they still had a strong smell of rubber for about a week, it’s better now. The 45's weighed 45.5lb and 44.5lb. The 10lb's are too thin and diameter too large so they bend and don’t feel durable. As a whole the plates work fine.

These are my first bumper plates and I’m loving them! They’re great for bouncing them during deadlifts :)As other users noted, the bumper plates came oily with a smell. But wiping them down with a towel and letting them air dry for a week fixed the problem. After a month, the smell is gone.With that said, I highly recommend sticking to this company. I had a personal request and the company was able to kindly accommodate my situation. Customer service was on point with quickly responding within 24 hrs. I would trust them if something would happen to these plates in the future.

Managed to pick them up on sale for a good price. I've bought three different bumper plates sets on Amazon and they all seem roughly the same. Probably coming from the same factory so I'd try to wait for a sale before buying any.

I have tried to find used weights for a while but never could find a decent set. So I bought these weights as they seemed best value for the money. I was not disappointed!They are holding up great so far and seem extremely durable. Super happy with the performance!
