Will definitely buy again!
I have mizuno wave horizon 4 which I love a lot, and feel these are even better!!I’m a size 6 but normally buy size 6.5 for running shoes. These particular shoes are size 7 to perfectly fit my feet. The toe box is perfect for my slightly wider feet (boarder line). They look beautiful- you know what I’m talking about- most running shoes are not as fashionable :/ Love the support/stability. Enough fusion but not too bouncy. I think this is a perfect buy for a beginner runner like me!

Support on steroids
These running shoes are so pretty. I pulled them out of the box and was immediately in love. I put them on and felt like they instantly felt good and didn’t feel like they needed a breaking-in period. The arch is perfect, the soles are strong, and the shoes are well-made. They don’t skimp on any part. Unfortunately, my big toes rub agains the toe box and end up hurting after hours of use. I know the problem is my foot and it the shoe. I’ve had many running shoes across multiple brands and for some reason my toes rub on some of them. It has to be a particular cut. Even more unfortunately, they don’t hurt when I try them on or go for a short walk. It’s literally hours into wearing them before I notice. I had my feet “professionally” measured at a running shoe specialty store and Mizunos were on the recomended list. I’ve had 2 pairs that worked fine and didn’t have this issue. I guess this is a warning that if you have toes with that tendency, these are not the shoe for you. Otherwise, I highly recommend them.

The Snug Fit Seems Like a Natural Extension of my Foot (5- Stars)
I love the snug side-to-side fit of these Mizuno running shoes because that fit minimizes rubbing and feels like a natural part of my foot. For running/walking, I don't want my foot to move sideways in my shoes, and these prevent that. For that reason, they are true athletic sneakers and not just good-looking casual shoes, even if they can be worn for everyday use. I wear a solid medium width, and they fit as they should. They do run a little small in length, however. I wear between an 8.5 and a 9, depending on the brand and style, and these in a 9 fit perfectly, although my toe is near the end, which is unusual when I choose the larger of the two sizes. If you are between sizes, go for the larger one.The construction of these shoes is excellent, They have good arch and ankle support without being stiff in the forward part of the shoe. That said, the front does have an interior low and rigid lip to keep my foot contained. The three-part soles absorb impact well, and their treads are deep enough to grip wet roads, although the treads aren't as substantial as trail runners. I have a high instep, and these do not cut into the top of my foot, always a concern for me. The only weirdness is the unsupported stretchy material on the top front; if I raise my toes, I can see them clearly as impressions. That is, the material is not see-through, but it is stretchy enough to conform to the toes.I love the styling. The soles extend beyond the width of the shoe for extra impact absorption, but they mix white and gray so that it's not as visually obvious as some. I hate when running shoes look like clunky blocks on my feet. When these wear out, I know I will mourn their loss. They are comfortable enough for all-day use while still serving me well when I work out, either indoors or out.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Very comfortable with lots of cushion and support
My wife has just got back into running and is loving these shoes. They give her a good amount of support and are really mold comfortably to her feet. The soles are thick with a good amount of cushion in them. She thinks the traction is pretty standard for a running shoe and really likes the cushion support around the ankles. She usually wears a size 8 in running shoes but has orthotics that she wears in her exercise shoes, so she sized up to an 8.5 and she is happy she did. The half of a size bigger is perfect for her with her orthotics in them.Overall she is really happy with these shoes. She doesn’t put in a ton of miles every week but they have been great over these past couple of weeks and miles she has put in. This is her first pair of shoes from this brand and is pleased with their quality. The price is very high but she expects these to last her a long time and hold up through lots of use. I hope this assists you with your shopping. If so feel free to let me and others know below and leave a comment with any questions you might have.Cheers, Cass

Fits a half size small.
I like the shoes very much. They are very comfortable. I plan to wear them for walking. I wear a size 9 and ordered a 9. They fit almost tight and my bug toe is right up at the end of each shoe!. I do not have wide, fat feet or high arches. I actually thought that these would be uncomfortable to wear all day. I have never worn shoes so snug and short fitting. I decided to wear very thin socks to try to help the circumstances. I was on my feet ALL day and walked almost 11K steps. The sneakers felt WONDERFUL! When I got home I did not want to take them off!! The sock liner can be easily removed if needed if you have an orthotic you need to wear. The tongue of the shoe is sewn in place on each lateral side of the inner foot by a comfortable thin shoe liner! The tongues of my shoes did not budge from center all day! So COMFY!!! The attached photos were taken at the end of first day of wearing.

Very narrow toebox and a half size small
I’ve been looking for a stability shoe that does not use a medial post and has cushioning. These shoes are very well made and have good cushioning and no medial post. They provide good stability but I have a bunion on one foot and need some sort of a raised arch in that area. What they do not have is any sort of arch and the toe box is ridiculously narrow. I have spent years trying to get my toes separated and I’m hesitating about whether to keep these. Why doesn’t Mizuno make a rounded toe box? Everyone seems to be on board these days with roomier toe boxes, so what’s the deal? If I go up a half size, I think they might be clumsy. I’m on the fence about these but they do check some of the boxes.I’m editing this review to say these shoes fit very snugly. Since I can’t wear socks with them, I’m returning. I have to use a shoe horn to put them on and I have a shallow foot. I think if you have a skinny, not flat foot, they might be great. I do have shallow feet, not wide , low, flexible arches if that helps someone else.
