The PIAOLGYI Perch for Bird Buddy Smart Bird Feeder is very sturdy. It installs with two screws that fit perfectly into the feeder. It gives the birds extra room to eat at the feeder.The cost of the PIAOLGYI Perch for Bird Buddy Smart Bird Feeder is so much more reasonable over the one that comes from Bird Buddy. The color match to the the blue feeder is very close and looks good.

Super easy install onto my bird buddy housing. The paper cover on it was maybe a litttlleeee difficult to get off but overall was super simple. The screws are included with the perch. Took all of 1 minute to put in between taking off the sticker and cleaning seeds that had fallen in the screw holes from messy birds lol

First shipment received had piece broken off. Promptly replaced which I appreciated. Perch is used by larger birds to access Bird Buddy feeding tray.

Easy to install

It fits. But the one I received was unfinished, only painted on the edges, and the material looks like compressed fiber board. I suspect it won't last long outdoors.

Perch makes it easier for birds to land and stand on feeder. Flat landing surface of the Bird Buddy is not ideal for a bird’s feet which are designed to grip round tree branches. Birds would slide when landing on the feeder before perch was installed. Larger birds will more readily use the feeder with the perch. I have a Red Bellied Woodpecker that routinely uses the feeder now. It never used the feeder before perch was added. Hope to attract the cardinals which use another close by feeder.

Seems sturdy, but color isn’t like the picture. Only the inside edges are red. The rest of the surfaces are brown. Kinda ugly
