It's a solidly built accessory shelf that works great with my adjustable height desk. It hides a couple expansion drives for my computer underneath my desk, keeping them easily within reach but off the desktop, which reduces clutter.The bracket is adjustable, just use a Philips head screw driver and two screws to adjust it to the thickness you need. I've had it mounted on both my desk's leg which is a great deal thicker than the temporary table I have also used it with when I needed a second workstation for a project.Mistakes I've made using it...1. The shelf and bracket a strong, so of course I loaded mine up with a fairly heavy network drive. The weight was not centered on the shelf, and because of the shelf's width that put a lot of torque on the shelf and clamp and it started to rotate after a period of time. I noticed it before anything fell. I purchased a C-clamp from the hardware store and added that it now has a clamp to prevent lop-sided loads from causing the mount from rotating.2. If you mount it to an adjustable height desk like I did, don't kick your trash can underneath shelf and then lower your desk. No surprise on this one folks.. the built in smarts of the desk stopped it from lowering further after the shelf won it's battle against the garbage can, whose contents were then all over my floor. The shelf and trash can have repeated this battle for a total of three times. The shelf has always won out and doesn't show a scratch or any damage at all. I am now looking for a new trash can though.

Just bends down. Then the little pads start to slide off and your stuff goes bang on the floor.Closer to 5lbs useful load. And I’d still recommend some strap to keep the top of your device snug to the leg.

Did just what I wanted, as I needed some extra space on my Stand/sit Unit. The ability to adjust up and down along the leg of the table provided cable flexibility.

According to the specs, this shelf can handle 13lbs. In my experience, it couldn't handle 10lbs. I really wanted it for my UPS but that's not gonna happen. I am able to use it for router and NAS, which is not what I wanted. but is better than nothing.

Bought another one since it goes perfect with my setup. The only issue I see is the foam on the clamp seems to move over time as I raise and lower my desk.

Have tried to get these shelves to stay in place several times now and wake up to find everything on the ground. Items are under the weight limit, but somehow these things slide down the adhesive found on the padding installed. Not sturdy at all! Doesn’t stay in place. Would return, but I already threw away the packaging.

I have two and may end up with more. Great way to add some under desk storage to a standing desk.Make sure it will work on the legs of your desk.You can flip the shelf to either have a small edge to contain things or no edge (if you need to put something with cords on it).Sturdy, well made, only moves when I intentionally move it.

My shelf was mounted on rectangular desk legs which is one of the listed ways to mount it. It has fallen down multiple times. I have tightened it as tight as it can go and yet it still slips down. Perhaps if I kept only the very lightest items it wouldn’t slide? I’ll keep experimenting, however it’s clear it won’t work for the use that I intended it for.
