As a wedding stationery supplier I was struggling to get a long reach stapler that could be used on order of service booklets, I had gone through so many with promises of 50+ pages and wasted so much paper and time when the staples buckled or broke, I had tried various staple brands too.It was the positive reviews that drew me to this beast, I was still sceptical though as it is a hell of a lot of money for a stapler. This stapler is truly amazing and has made my work so much easier. I can get through 100 booklets in a jiffy and no longer have a lot of wasted booklets. Very happy!!I love this beast!!

I had purchased a Rexel Gladiator stapler last year to staple books of tickets. These consisted of 100 80gsm pages, a 350gsm cover and a 1.5mm backing board. After a reasonable start the Rexel Gladiator began failing to staple correctly almost every other time. I eventually bit the bullet and invested in this considerably more expensive stapler the Novus B56 Heavy duty stapler. It is like night and day, the Novus staples these like a knife going through butter perfectly every time. Lesson learnt I should have bought this high quality item rather than waste cash on the inferior Rexel.(For both staplers I purchased the branded staples for each stapler, and I know that the Rexel has a recommended max of 160 sheets compared to the Novus 200 sheets.)

We purchased this to use in school for making books. After many other makes and models this one is fantastic!! It puts books together in seconds. We use the 23/8 staples which we find are great for stapling books from 10/12 pages thick and upwards. You get what you pay for and this is definitely worth every penny. A bit on the big size but so easy to use. Highly recommend.

Sorry, but I wanted a good strong stapler. This one is disappointing, it is offered as "German Engineering" but arrived with the logo Novus, Lingen, Germany on the visible side of the stapler, but embossed on the bottom side in small letters Made in China. All made of plastic, with only the mechanical parts made of plated carbon steel.I'll keep it because the postage back to SK, Slovakia will be expensive. No free postage for this Prime member.

Soon as I opened the box I knew immediately this stapler was going to do the job. I needed to staple books together having a thick cover and this machine was excellent. The books consisted of 10 A4 sheets with thick cover to be stapled and then folded to A5 size. I tried various staplers that just couldn't handle the job. This one was a joy to use. I used Novus 23/8 staples for my particular job and found the whole unit worked brilliantly. Unit is made in Germany, more costly than most but well worth it.

We have a mail order office and send out hundreds of A5-finished booklets, stapled in the centre. Over the years we have got through a lot of long-arm staplers which had a short life and gave a lot of trouble (bent staples, broken finger nails removing them etc). So we searched online, invested in the Novus machine, it costs more than the average office stapler but is robust, efficient, easy to load, easy to extract any mis-stapled items (hardy ever occurs anyway) and I'm sure it's a once-in-a lifetime purchase. Not sure where it's made but seems to be German-style engineering. Up to ten sheets of standard A4 paper, a standard office stapler will do if the volumes are small, but for stapling quantities over 50, the Novus is easier, and for booklets of more than 10 sheets folded in half, the Novus seems to be the ONLY solution. Purchased through Amazon, delivered very quickly and as described. Very happy with it.

This stapler is a must if you want to do serious stapling of any quantity or thickness. The build quality is fantastic and there is no comparison to other, cheaper long arm staplers. if you wonder whether paying the extra money is worth it - it definitely is.
