Trust Smart Home ACM-1000 Built-In Switch for Wireless Switching of Lights (1000 W)

First, a small clarification. The supplier's description refers to 'switching of lights'. This is slightly misleading because although you can, of course, use them for lighting control, they'll happily control almost any device with a rating below a Kilowatt. So to the review proper: I've used these 433MHz remotely controlled switches for years. They just work. And they carry on working. I have upwards of 25 in use and I've had one failure in about 12 years. Unlike some competitor devices, they never lose their pairing. They're even reasonably easy to reconfigure, so long as you're meticulous about keeping records of which transmitters control which receivers. And they're much cheaper than their Z-Wave and Zigbee brethren. The latter may theoretically have greater range but, in practice, I've never had a problem anywhere within a medium-sized two storey house. These days, I control them via an Octopus-2000 Internet Control Station (reviewed elsewhere), also from Trust, and I link that to my Amazon Echo environment, using the Trust Smart Home skill(which I've also reviewed). So, although they are really old technology (which is another way of saying mature and established, with the bugs ironed out), they play nice with modern kit. In summary, I have no hesitation in recommending these highly, especially to anyone wanting to put a toe in the Smart Home water. It's a cheap way in and you can build your system over time in size and sophistication.

This is the second of these switches we have bought. They are simple to set up and it is possible to connect multiple wall switches to the switch box, so we were able to add a switch to the room in the correct side of a door and put in a second switch without wiring. Works like a charm. The same applies the second time around.

All good. The switch is nicely self contained and neatly fitted in the patress with just a little fiddling. Range seems good. The transmitter is located at the far end of the garage, on the opposite side to the house, probably near 100Mtrs direct path, yet response is reliable and fast.

BRILLIANT LITTLE BIT OF KIT I HAVE GOT 2 NOW AND USE THEM TO REMOTELY TURN ON ME CABIN AND SHED OUTSIDE LIGHTS AT THE END OF MY GARDEN. NOW I CAN SEE WHERE I'M GOING.

Funciona a la perfección y es muy fácil de instalar y programar. Ocupa muy poco espacio, por lo que se puede poner dentro de una caja de distribución.

Acquistato per risolvere il problema di un interruttore posizionato dietro una porta, in questo modo non ho dovuto fare nessuna opera muraria... Si installa facilmente a patto che si abbia un minimo di conoscenza dei circuiti elettrici, io sono riuscito a posizionarlo dentro la plafoniera perché nella scatola 503 dove ci stava l'interruttore non entrava, ovviamente necessita di un trasmettitore sempre della trust che purtroppo non ha un aspetto/stile della serie interruttori matix bticino che ho in casa.

j'ai acheté ce produit pour créer un éclairage d'allée de jardin automatique . Ce récepteur est directement placé dans mon tableau électrique sur la ligne dédié a cette éclairage . l'installation a était très simple ( je n'y connais absolument rien en électricité) et rapide . Il est couplé a un détecteur de mouvement et un interrupteur sans fil. je regrette un peu la taille livraison est emballage nickel

Hab das Gerät mit dem Trust Smart Home AWMT-230 kombiniert. Der liegt, versteckt in der Einbaudose, hinter einem Lichtschalter im Haus und schaltet jetzt meine Beleuchtung im Garten. Alles ohne die Stromkreise direkt miteinander zu verbinden. Voll Nice! Bei mir sind Schalter im Haus und Empfänger ca 7m entfernt. Dazwischen zwei Mauern. Klappt wunderbar. Gerät wie beschrieben an Dauerstrom und die Lampen geschlossen, angelernt und läuft. Anleitung ist perfekt mit Bildern beschreiben. Bin gelernter Elektroniker aber das bekommt glaube ich jeder mit etwas Ahnung von der Materie hin. Anlernen funktioniert wie beschrieben und einwandfrei. Top!
