I was originally looking for a panic alarm i can carry with me and a portable alarm to put by my back door as i've gone through domestic abuse recently. So glad i came across this, saved me money as it's 3 in 1 panic alarm, PIR & torch. Used the PIR last night by my back door and i felt safer when i went to bed. When i got up this morning i forgot about it until i passed it and the alarm went off, which is loud enough for me to hear if i'm in bed. I also carried it with me when i had to go out today and it made me feel safer. It even came with 3 spare batteries.

This is an excellent product,, wasnt able to really understand the instructions but you can figure it out by yourselve pretty quickly, the alarm is extremely loud , lovely compact size, so so easy to use, yep a well recommended good buy,, not just for travelers but safety conscious people as well,, I use it on the front door when my partner is travelling so I feel so much more safe now,

One only works when it wants the other doesn’t work at all. Cheap rubbish

Excellent product. Not only great for putting between the door and frame to add security to your room, but very useful to put under your personal items. I placed the product under my bag that was placed near to my feet and the alarm activated when somebody lifted my bag and i had not noticed them doing so. The alarm immediately sounded and the person apologised for moving my bag. I believe the alarm prevented someone tampering with my bag.This item is not expensive and can protect your more valuable items in your possession.

MISLEADING ADVERT!!! You do not get a spare set of batteries. Even though it says all over the advert that you do get a spare set, none are included.If you ask for them, you get some snotty, ignorant "customer service" representative be rude and refuse to help you. I was going to return it but I don't trust them to process it correctly so I'll buy my own batteries and leave an honest review. The product is fine apart from the lack of the promised spare set of batteries. I would give the review a zero if I could, solely based on the rude interaction with one of their customer service staff.

I've bought this on the basis of reading on-line review comments about a hotel that I am due to use where there appears to have been a spate of room break-ins during the night.My aim being to alarm the room patio doors (apparently the usual point of entry) during the night so that anyone attempting to come in will be (a) frightened by the noise, (b) run off and (c) suffer a torrent of shouted abuse from your truly.The device is easy to set up and sufficiently load that neither I nor any would be intruder would fail to hear this.The wire running to the sensor doubles as a cord to allow the alarm to be hung from the handle of the door or window.Recommended for holiday use.UPDATE AFTER USING ON HOLIDAYThis did go off once while we were away on holiday in Madeira and I can safely say that it did indeed wake me from my slumbers. I wasn't a thief thief that set it off, but a very strong and gusty wind that cause the hotel room patio door to open. I can safely say that, had this been someone trying to get in, both they and I would have been fully aware of the alarm!

Bought this as I travel for work a lot and recently was in a hotel room where the dead lock didn't work and I felt a little vulnerable. This little thing weighs nothing but packs a real punch in terms of the alarm volume. Just slide the metal prongs out, remove the plastic ring which holds them together, slip them between door....or window....and frame and loop the rope over the handle. The alarm goes off when the prongs ping apart - when a door or window is opened. After buying it, I stayed at a hotel in Dublin which had sash windows and I was given a ground floor room. One of the sashes wouldn't lock and I didn't like to think the window could be opened. Using this gave me peace of mind.....though I did ask the hotel to fix the lock the next day and they did.

I travel alot with work (to various places in Africa) and this little device provides me with additional piece of mind when I am sleeping.The kit is extremely easy to fit and fits all doors I have come accross to date. I even use it on my holidays now. It is also very loud!I've been in a hotel room when a stranger has entered by accident, and this little device will provide an extremely loud alarm which would deter/shock most people from entering a room. If not that at least it will alert me to the situation.Great.
