Super Value Cotton Of Every Colour You’d Ever Need.
Lovely set of of cotton reels, put in colour coordinated packets along with a quality set of hand sewing needles and two threaders (essential to thread a sewing machine needle with). What I particularly liked was a lovely note with the cotton reels thanking me for purchasing them, such a nice thoughtful touch. The cotton feels fine, silky and yet strong. Though I have found they break in the sewing machine with tasks like buttonholes on thicker fabrics, but are fine on thinner fabrics (like cotton or jersey knit). Great value I’d happily recommend this set. (By the way if you’d like to know how to use the needle threader on a sewing machine needle, bend the thin metal wire to the left, hold the plastic part in your thumb and forefinger and gently push the metal part through the eye of the needle from the back towards you. Then put the thread through the thin wire (through the middle of the diamond shape) and holding the thread gently pull back the threader and as the wire comes out of the needle it pulls the thread through the eye too. I hope that is helpful to you.

Great value for money
So, I decided to go for cheap over quality as I needed a vast array of colours for my projects. I would have preferred gutermann as its my favourite make.....up until now. So, its not terribly thick which is no bad thing unless you want to repair say jeans or heavy fabrics. It looks good enough to use with a machine so I will leave an update after I've tried that. Strength. Fairly strong but not the strongest. Definitely stronger than gutermann 100% cotton. I could snap it with my fingers but it did take a good amount of pressure before it broke. In fact it left indents in my fingers so a fair amount of pressure was used. At the current price it works out 28p a roll, and there's twice as much as you get on gutermann rolls. For 28p definitely no complaints. The colour variety is exceptionally good, every shade you could possibly think of. Its so good I'm seriously thinking of buying another set to have in reserve as I do a lot of sewing, more so since covid lock down. My advice.......why pay more when you don't have to. Fabulous value for money and its lovely and soft to the touch, very silky and smooth. 10/10

OK for beginner sewing kit
For the money, these cottons are good value for money if you are just looking for basic threads to mend clothes or sew buttons on etc. The colours are great and that is the main reason I chose these, as they have darker green and navy and brown etc, which many other collections on here didnt have. However, the thread is a little thin and the reels are slightly skinny, but again they were cheap. I would not use these threads for embroidery or even machine sewing, I just dont think firstly you get enough thread for machine sewing, but I dont think they are strong enough. Not sure I would buy again, depends what I wanted them for.

Theyre really good
I use these a lot as my local sewing machine shop is too expensive, you can get ready filled shuttles to match too from here which I love too, they make life sew much easier :) I use them mainly on lockstitch but for a overlocker you'd probably get through them fast, good strong enough and a nice variety of colours that come in packs of shades so easy to grab when you need them. They are easy to store in a sewing box or bag, I am still using mine and I don't regret getting them.

Value for money 60 sewing threads.
I am sewing such a variety of colours and fabrics at the moment and I wanted a good selection of diverse colours to keep as a reserve for the unexpected. Very well packaged and nicely presented with the additional packet of hand sewing needles and threaders. The colours are really nice and the thread strong and durable. Nice quality considering the price paid for them. There is 250 yards on a spool so will not be suitable for someone who is sewing a large amount in one colour. Would make a suitable present for anyone who likes sewing or just starting.

Great value. Highly recommend
Really pleased with these threads. Great choice of colour. I made over 100 masks as a present for the people I work with and family and friends using these threads. Occasionally there would be a snub in the thread that would cause it to break at the needle and sometimes cause the needle to break but the price, choice of colours etc far out ways the trouble of having to replace the odd needled. I’ve mention it because I couldn’t work out why the cotton broke on a straight run of stitching and a couple of times the needle broke. I spent time taking the machine apart and oiling. I then did some hand sewing and when I pulled the thread and threaded the needle I notice the snub. It’s not an issue and I would order again without a doubt.

Good Value for Occasional Sewing Jobs but not Heavy Duty
I bought these and also the Coats Germany Moon threads. The Coats threads are better quality as you would expect for a premium brand, and yard for yard, pound for pound, Coats works out cheaper. But you have to buy more than 3 times the quantity, and you get fewer colour varieties. For more regular sewing enthusiasts the Coats ones are more cost-effective. I used the Soledi thread to turn up some cargo trousers and they did a neat job, no breaks, no complaints. However when used for sewing denim the thread broke time and again.

Beautiful
Very bright and beautiful silks. There are several shades of the main colours it is an extraordinary collection. Over the years I've had many thread collections including well known cross stitch and tapestry silks but this set is by far very superior in shades and hues. Seems slightly expensive...until it arrives and then you see the entirety of quality. Excellent !!

This is very nice thread and an unbelievably good value. It’s not cheap and terrible thread that snaps. It is a bit thicker than normal thread but I just loosened the tension on my machine and it works great. No meltdown or weakening on ironing either. I was so happy I immediately bought more. There is a little difference in some of the thread widths, but that doesn’t bother my machine a bit, and it finishes nicely. I’ve had worse thread from Gutermann. They also included needles and two threaders as a bonus, which was nice :) Update: This thread does not like thinner sewing machine needles. I tried to use a Schmitz 60/8 and it was a mess. It works well with a Singer 90/14

I ordered this and 4days later it arrived at my door this is during COVID19. I thought it was expensive when I placed the order but then when I got it, it is a pretty good value for money considering I have 60 different colour threads. These are for home sewing and even professionally too. I love this purchase because it gives me all the colours I need to fix and sew clothes/blankets and etc. I definitely recommend this.
