Not a bad replacement! Most replacements for this price do not include the motor. My passenger side replacement was a breeze. The drivers side was extremely difficult to get the white plastic guide to snap through the hole in my glass. Didn't want to line up just perfectly and it took some pushing and a little bending to seat it. Once in - I was golden. Also, on the factory part, the two-wire power connection is mounted solidly to the motor. On the replacement, it hangs off loose. You will need to secure it with a wire tie to keep it out of the path of the mechanism - or you will end up rolling down your window and unplugging it like I did. :-)

So far so good. Replacement was not insignificant but not super difficult and this regulator fits pretty seamlessly into the door. The only difference between this and the OEM part is that the clip is loose and dangling by wires, while the OEM part has the clip attached directly to the regulator by a firm plastic housing. Because of this, I zip-tied the clip portion so it would be sure to stay out of the way of any moving parts and wouldn't rattle in the door. Given the affordable price and the ease of install, I'll look to this manufacturer when I need to replace the other door's regulator! (The image shows the OEM regulator and the clip attached firmly to the bar. You can see the images of this product in the listing that the clip is "loose" and connected only by a wire)

I have a 2012 Fiat 500 sport and it’s been reliable for over a decade. One day my window just stopped working. It would make an electrical motor sound as if it was trying to roll up my window but couldn’t quite catch it. It just sat up about 3 quarters of the way up. I had to push it up by hand and place door stoppers in my window to keep it up. Recently, the same thing happened to my drivers side. So I did my research and found out the regulators needing to be replaced was a common issue. I bought this pair here and It saved me so much money. I took the parts over to my mechanic and it took less than an hour to install a single regulator. These were not only a great deal but they are perfect and arrived quickly. I highly recommend!!

So that's why there are similar parts for almost twice the price on amazon. Those are probably turn key installations. This one almost made the grade except at the final stage of installation. It would not clipped to the glass. The reason turned out to be due to stiff rubber seats. That's right, there are two black rubber seats within the white plastic part that clips to the bottom of the glass and moves it up and down. The ones that came with this replacement were so stiff that they would not give in a millimeter therefore, the clip could not secure the glass in place. Fortunately the old part had to well worn but functional rubber seats that I manage with some difficulty to swap. So if you still have your old part around, then go ahead and order this piece. Otherwise you either have to remove the rubber seats and squeeze them down or shave them down, or something else to get the piece to attach. Other than that it has been a good replacement. I will test the window daily while and within the return window (Pun intended!)

My Fiat 500E's driver's window was rolled down and wouldn't roll back up. We ordered this to replace the faulty one and this works as expected. The window works and rolls up and down just fine. It was a fairly easy install with only a couple hiccups that was worked out.
