First, the lid is sunken into the top to allow overflow water to drain in , not out on the counter. Next, at night when lights are off or very low, the green glow of the filter usage battery which lights while pouring, illuminates your glass so you can stop filling it, without guessing it's full.So cool.

We use a lot of water for drinking, coffee and our humidifier. Tired of lugging home bottles of water..with our community water system containing high amounts of calcium, using faucet water is out of question. Having a Brita has made my life a bit easier. No more 5-15 gallons of bottle water. Less recyclable plastic in my trash can. Been great for me ..so far!

Water purifier works great. It's a little heavy for my wife's arthritis hands.

Overpriced. Poorly made and designed.The plastic is thin and brittle. The handle started cracking and losing bits of plastic after a week.Another design fault: there is no cover over the spout like there is on my old Brita pitcher. So crap can fall right into the water.Junk, returned

Not sure what's going on. Bought two a few weeks apart. One, the first, came with a white lid, and works fine, The second came with a blue lid, and after only 3 months is faulty. The indicator light no longer functions ; red light won't stop flashing when water is poured. When they work - no complaints. Quality control issue I assume ..
