Durable Plastic and Metal 10-Frame Beehive Stand: Elevate & Protect Your Hive

Whether I’m using this for a box of bees, or as a holding spot when I’m inspecting a hive, the stand works great. I have two of them and I’m contemplating purchasing a third because they really come in handy. I like that there’s a place to hang your frames during inspections and even though it’s plastic, it stays together well and is super useful.

It is an absolutely great little stand for a beehive. Know that when you're putting it together that the footprint for the baseboard of your hive is very tight and you may need to assemble your bottom board while you are assembling the stand in order to get it to fit. Mine came with about 0.003 interference fit. But once I got it in there that thing was solid and not moving. Was a little frustrating at first because I thought that the base was too small. As long as you keep this in mind when you order and assembling you will be in great shape.

Sturdy enough to support 200+ Lb beehive along with built-in frame holders, not too shabby.

Some reviews said it doesn’t fit so I had concerns. I put the bottom board in on one side and put my hive tool between the other side and the stand. Pushed down on the bottom board and it slid right in. Nice fit and holds the bottom board well. I’ve now used a standard bottom board and screen bottom boards in them. Bought more for new hives. Nice when they aren’t in use they store in a small stack flat. Happy with these stands.

I had to cut two 2x8 slats so I could easily rest the Bee Hive on this stand. The stand isn't wide enough for the Hoover Hive Langstroth hive we purchased although it was recommended.

The product arrived in a short time after order and is well made and good quality.

The sizing is too close and if you have extra coats of paint or moisture causing swelling or a slightly oversized custom bottom board like the BeetleBuster's it will require force to fit in which can and will damage your hive bottom. Not recommended.
