We purchased this for a grandson's 8th birthday. The headphones were not appreciated, maybe because of the "ears" on top, but he has others that plug in just fine. The sound quality is impressive.

Not even close to a real drum and doesnโt replace a practice pad as many reviews state. Fun for little kids for sure!
