It worked perfectly on ceramic but porcelain not so much.

The instructions for set up were just about impossible to follow. The tile blades were difficult to get seated into the cradle. Once i figured out the pliers portion, it seemed to cut well. However, that wasn't before I broke quite a few (expensive) tiles. Ended up hiring someone to tile, because I couldn't count on this. If you can figure it out and reliably get good cuts, it's a neat tool allowing for very long cuts. But I doubt you'll see the pros using this

Broke 2- 55 dollar tiles with this. Sent it back.

It took me two or three tries to cut 4-ft tile with out breaking it for what it is I'll give it four to five stars

This is such a great product that I can easily say it's the best product I have ever purchased on Amazon! I am not a tile layer by profession, and broke only one tile (36" long) until I got a hold of it, and from there I managed to easily cut very narrow pieces of tile and ceramic tiles. I am extremely happy with this product and I believe it's a genius invention.
