Definitely soaking up running dyes in the machine. I still wouldn’t put reds in with whites though as there is a limit to what it can do. I put two in with every dark wash and don’t get colour transfer if I then put light colours in afterwards. A bit pricey but worth it.

We use in mixed washes to protect colours

I use these all the time in my washes. I start off with one in with whites, just in case, then can use it in mediums and on to darks. I dry them if they are not really darkened and keep them to use later, along with a new one. They are really helping keep my colours and washing the colours they were meant to be.The current price of £13.50 for 120 sheets is fine, in my opinion. I have them on a Subscribe and Save' order every 4 months and the 120 last me well over that time.
