First off, no this is not a throttle, but it obviously doesn't look like it has any thumb or twist throttle in the photos, so it doesn't loose any points for the incorrect item description.However, I lost a star for two reasons. First off, the voltage display is red and a little hard to see in direct sunlight, it could have been brighter or possibly green or blue would show up better in the daytime. Second issue is a lack of a pin out diagram, but I figured that out, so I will save anyone else the trouble.The black wire is battery negative and connects directly to the voltage meter inside the unit and should be connected to any negative wire on your controller. The red wire and green wires are the positive that is switched on\off when the key is turned. So if your controller has a 2 wire on\off connection, then wire the red and green to that.

Easy to mount. Voltage Display is useful and quite accurate.

Dislike that is advertised "thumb throttle" when it is not.

This can be used to show the voltage level of the battery and key to turn on an ebike controller, but it does not have a thumb throttle or any throttle control capability.Not useful if you intend to replace your current throttle with key setup, unless you want it to take up more room on your handlebars.

This works like a charm, key works smoothly and isn't overly large like some of them.. Voltage reading is spot on, easy to install and asethetically pleasing. I would recommend this if you need accurate voltage readings and a key. Metal retainer with set screw holds it tight from movement aswell.

There is no thumb throttle with this item. That was disappointing.
