Central vac system doesn’t use standard PVC pipes…. This is the pipe you need.

Nice pipe and suits the purpose, but good thing I didn't need the entire 8 foot piece as one end was damaged. There was no packaging, they just shipped the pipe with the shipping paper taped to it. Vacuum tube PVC is very thin, thinner than schedule 20 PVC vent/drain pipe, so an exposed end is susceptible to damage. I would suggest the seller add at least minimal protection to the ends or pack inside the ends with heavy cardboard. But, this can be a hard to find product and to be able to purchase just one piece has it's advantages. Overall I recommend the product and seller.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a small order (qty 4) of 8-foot tubes on my doorstep. They arrived sooner than expected, and unlike many other sellers that ship shorter 4-ft or even 2-ft tubes to save themselves on shipping costs, these were really eight feet long. The longer tubes means fewer connectors to buy, and a better system in my opinion. The material is thin (which is fine for a vacuum system), and cuts easily with a hacksaw. The tubes are 2" outer diameter (which is standard size for whole-house systems), so you have to use compatible central vacuum connectors and elbows... the schedule 40 stuff that you find in the plumbing section of your local hardware store will not fit. Amazon is not very cheap for connectors and elbows; I would search Google for a different supplier if you need more than a few.
