I don't know whether or not I liked this movie.
Did you ever have one of those dreams where it starts out fairly regular, you don't know you're dreaming, you're there and living it but then as it develops you notice yourself start to drift and the dream gradually becomes more and more ridiculous to the point that you realise it's a dream? Usually at that point you either wake up or take control of the dream. This movie is like what happens when you don't pick either of those options and you just roll with it.Honestly I can't tell if it was clever or stupid, whether it was full of meaning or just a mess of bad attempts at delivering a message. I found myself thinking more and more "this is nonsense, the writer doesn't know anything about what they're writing" as the time ticked by but I can't figure out if that's just me misunderstanding what he was doing. Like if it was intentionally the way it is then perhaps it's a great film, if it was meant to be how it presents itself then it was a forced mess by someone who didn't really want to be writing it.I guess what I'm trying to say is withhold your expectations, don't assume you're going to enjoy it and maybe you will enjoy it.

Fast-Paced, Edge-of-your-Seat, Good Acting, Some Great Twists & Turns.
A Fantastic Fast-Moving Edge-of-your-Seat Action Thriller, its rare films of this genre of this good, but this film does it pretty well... Elijah Wood is great and the acting all-round is decent, the way the camera rolls throughout the movie is well-done, its enjoyable and not over done, and some fantastic twists & turns throughout.

What happens when you are a huge fan? Open windows will show you.
Great thriller and imaginative story about deception and obsessive voyeurism with celebrity and how the fame can endanger not only the voyeur but also the celebrity.

Pull the shutters down!
Not great. A film which takes itself too seriously and tries to be cleverer than it really is.

Its a waste of his talent and Maskell
Literally NO idea why Elijah wood is in this utter tosh. Its a waste of his talent and Maskell. A man gets tricked into a cat and mouse game with a film star.

Superb thriller
I was not sure what to expect when I started watching this. It's a superb thriller in fact probably the best I've seen in years. My pet hate is having to agree on mobile apps to let them hear your phonecalls , access your camera and they can pretty much have access to your life because I want an app. However this movie when the mysterious phone call happens and has full access to her mobile it freaked me out (I've had calendar on my mobile change etc settings ,really annoying Damn you insragram ,FB etc) Hacker groups are extremely smart with what they can access and this thriller never stops . Best ending I've seen too . Just superb. I've watched Hackers , The Net and I have to say this was far superior. I know some people may not like it but give it a go. I will buying this at some point soon.

WIDER
Nick Chambers (Elijah Wood) wins a dinner with his favorite movie star Jill Goddard (porn star-Sasha Grey). To his dismay the dinner has been cancelled. Nick is befriended by an on line hacker who shows Nick film from her phone and computer, essentially spying on her. The voyeurism, on which the film was hyped was short lived. Nick is drawn into a web of activity which centers on a mysterious man called "Nevada."Sasha Grey shows us her boobs, something she has done in every movie I can think of except one. The film has us looking at a computer screen (open windows) for much of the film. And what was with taking black and white photos of a screen shot?
