Great speaker. You know this is quality
Great speaker. You know this is quality. Sound is amazing. Looks and feels expensive. The gold colour is great. One of great things about this speaker is once you have charged it. It lasts for ages. I actually forget where I put the charger. Yes it’s expensive but you get what you pay for with this. Using android phone and iPad with it and connects no problem every time. Not surprised when you read about this company and the speakers they make for theatre.

Sound Quality Depends of the Room Size
If you plan to use it in a big room with at a high volume try something else. Perfect for smaller rooms.

Fabulous sound
This is a fantastic speaker. The Bluetooth connection is simple to use and reliable. Sound is comparable to my BOSE speakers. It is unusual looking and I really like the styling. The battery life is great and exceeds the advertised. It is however relatively heavy so I wouldn't want to carry it huge distances. I highly recommended if your budget allows.

Great sounding speaker with great battery life
Great sounding speaker with great battery life! Just missing a a few kH on the low end of the spectrum to make it 5* (bass is loud enough not very deep / low)

Fantastic; changed the experience of listening to music and audiobooks
This is a really beautiful speaker both in terms of its aesthetics and its performance. I haven't had a wireless speaker before so wasn't sure what to expect and was blown away by the sound quality. I'm not an audiophile but I love music and I listen to a LOT of audiobooks. This speaker copes brilliantly with both, providing rich, detailed sound which has has really made a significant difference to listening to audiobooks through the iPhone speakers turned up all the way. I usually use this speaker whilst I do the housework and because it's portable I can easily move it about with me. It's not bulky and it's beautiful gold finish and honeycomb accents fit in nicely with our room decor so I can leave it out even when not using it. This is a very expensive piece of kit but it is worth every penny.

3 1/2 stars really - it sounds great (with some caveats) but not enough to justify the premium price in a competitive market
The T7 is about the size of a thick hardback novel or, to compare with other portable bluetooth speakers, almost exactly the same size and weight as the Creative Soundblaster Roar. It's also well over twice the price of the Roar, which features the added ability to take calls and play from an inserted Micro SD card. I like the Roar a lot, so the T7 has to sound much better to justify its price.I am a fan of Bowers & Wilkins products but some are better than others. One thing they all have in common is the need to run them in for a period of time before they sound their best. Straight out of the box they sound brittle, a little harsh, and without much bass. Fortunately after just a couple of hours the harshness toned down and they sounded better albeit without much bass at first. The bass sounds mainly emerge from the rear so I found that placing it near a wall helped considerably and on a bookshelf was best of all. In this position the sound was nicely balanced and integrated. The speaker unit itself sits in the centre, surrounded by a translucent honeycomb area that absorbs vibration, not as a means of shock proofing but to improve the sound. Around the outside edge is a silcon layer into which are integrated the on/off, volume, play/pause and pairing buttons. These are very hard to see indoors but are raised slightly for feel. The 'gold' colour is more like a dull brass but it's stylish enough, the whole being vaguely reminiscent of a Stylophone The Original Pocket Electronic Organ .It goes pretty loud, enough to fill a large room, but the sound quality starts to diminish when you push it. Okay it's a small box and the laws of physics apply limits to what it can do but the midrange becomes strangely squawky, not what I'd expect at this price. For my purposes, on a bookshelf in my study providing background music while I'm working, it's perfect. It manages to retrieve lost of detail and present it in a musical way that's very enjoyable. The rechargeable battery also lasts ages - more than 24 hours at a time at reasonable volumes. But is it significantly better than the Soundblaster Roar? In pure sound quality terms yes, in terms of the detail retrieved yes. But the law of diminishing returns applies and it's not so much better that the extra cost is worthwhile. I also compared it to the Libratone One Style, which is similarly sized. It's splash-proof and much more portable thanks to the integrated carry handle; again, it doesn't sound quite as good as the T7 but is perfectly good enough for portable use. It can also be charged via USB, which neither the Roar or T7 can.Ultimately the competition is fierce and the T7 is too expensive for sound quality alone.

Not gold - dark-greyish-bronze at best
Don't expect it to look anything like the images, it's not the attractive bright gold they advertise, more of a dull bronze at best - I actually thought I had been sent the silver by mistake as it's rather dark grey. Feel a bit betrayed regards the aesthetics. Other than that, it's pretty cute, easy to operate and decent sound - good bass for the size.

Elegant B&W speaker
This Bowers & Wilkins T7 speaker is for those audiophiles people that prefer a more natural, accurate sounding experience. For people that prefer mid bass or high bass this speaker might not exactly fulfill your bass dreams. I think Bowers & Wilkins designed this speaker to capture a more vivid sound without emphasizing too much low end bass. The bass is there but it’s balanced. I was expecting a little more bass myself but now I understand that B&W focus more on high fidelity sound on their speakers. I say this speaker is more for indoor use than outdoor use, it does feel more of a vintage, classy speaker. Either way looking forward to expand my B&W collection.

Soddisfatto!
Nitido fino in fondo senza graffiare o grattare. Soddisfatto.

Three Stars
Good speaker, yet not worth anywhere near the cost.

Consigliato a chi piace ascoltare musica "ovunque". Molto carino anche il design.
