Planted seeds in starter pot inside and they came up about an inch and then died.

Good seeds! Begonias are hard to germinate so you need to know what you're doing.
Begonias are not easy to germinate. For a high success rate, you need to use seed starter because it's finer than soil. The seeds are tiny and they will fall too far down in regular dirt. Begonia seeds also need sunlight to germinate. What I do is use seed starter, sprinkle a couple seeds on the top and mist them to keep moist. You don't want to seeds to get buried by watering too harshly. I cover with plastic and keep in a warm sunny place.

Good seeds
They have not bloomed but the seeds themselves have all came up. Very excited. Very easy. I put in dirt. Water a few times and they have sprouted.
