Works pretty well
Used it on a leather sofa that was falling apart because of a couple toddlers who thought it was an indoor trampoline. Aside from being a good and flexible glue, the tube lasts a long time. I only use a little at a time for the tears, and over the past couple of years the glue left in the tube still works as well as when I first bought it. Just make sure the cap is on tight after each use.

Invisible repair on leather chair
I have a leather reclining armchair. It cost a lot of money. There was a small section on the headrest, where my head would rest, where the leather was splitting and breaking down. I contacted upholsterers to see if it could be repaired, the leather replaced and I was told it couldn't be repaired and it would not be cost effective to recover it. It was too good not to do something. In a last-ditch attempt to do something I tried this glue. I applied it liberally all across the damaged area. I lifted the bit that was coming away and glued under it and applied more all around, following the lines of the leather creases.I was horrified. It looked like the leather was bubbling and blistering with the glue. It looked like I had made the thing far worse! BUT, when it dried, it had all settled down and, because the glue is clear, you couldn't see it. The tear was gone. The whole area around it was substantially more wear-resistant and it was virtually invisible. I left it a day and some initial shininess had faded and it looked even more invisible.I was looking at over £1,000 to have this re-covered in new leather. If I could have got someone to repair it, their charges were in the hundreds. In the end, this cost me a tube of glue. I am very happy and I highly recommend it.

Good old Bostik...
I've been wearing a pair of slip on trainers from Sports Direct and when I ordered an identical replacement pair from them they are too small, and my feet haven't grown either!! Couldn't be bothered to send them back so what do I do? Mend me ode ones! Ordered some Bostic Leather Glue from Amazon...not that the trainers have actually ever seen a bit of leather...and they've glued up perfectly. It's a contact adhesive and it does come out the tube fairly swiftly when you open it so just be aware. The shoes are now perfectly wearable...but they still smell!!
