High quality, good looking, great price. Highly recommended!
I don't typically leave reviews, but this e-bike (and the Eleglide brand) deserves one. What really impressed me is the quality of the whole product: I am an engineer and I am used to looking at details, assembly, and material in general and I can state that this e-bike is by far one of the best e-bikes I have tried. A simple example: the frame is painted in metallic white paint and stickers are applied under a very thick layer of clearcoat. This is very uncommon also for e-bikes that cost 4 times more. The bike comes properly packaged and the assembly is straightforward, although the instructions are sometimes vague and not very helpful. My bike didn't have a single scratch or mark and everything was perfect. Considering the size of the box and the weight of its content, this is a sign of how well the packaging was studied. The gearset is made from Shimano and it is perfectly calibrated. Changing gears is impressively smooth and it reminds me of top class bikes.I have found out that the whole electric compartment is made by CSC - a quite famous Chinese brand (competes with Bafang). Would you need spare parts (motor, sensor, wiring) I expect that not to be an issue. What really drove me to this bike is that it is the only bike under £1000 equipped with a torque sensor (most of the competitors come with a cadence sensor that triggers the motor only after you pedal). In my first 50km the torque sensor responded well and was able to detect the pressure on the pedals, switching on the motor when needed. Note: with a torque sensor the motor switches on only when you put pressure on the pedals, meaning that if you are pedaling without putting pressure, the motor goes off. This not the case with a candence sensor, so with this bike the motor works in real assist mode, making the battery last longer and inviting the rider to actually cycle. The motor itself is strong enough to assist you in pedaling, driving the bike quickly to the maximum speed supported. It is not strong enough to pedal instead of you and you can feel that it is only 45Nm when pedaling on steep hills. For some people this might be a limitation, but in reality most users are looking for an assisted pedaling experience and not a scooter. If you do mountain biking this is not the right bike (but not just because of the motor). The tires are also from CSC. I didn't know the brand but it seems a big global tire maker and the quality of these tires was very evident in my rides (I am going to buy the same when I replace them). These are a premium model from the CSC catalog and they are also equipped with a proprietary anti-puncture treatment. The seat is average, I suppose many would be fine with it, but I have replaced it and added also a suspended seatpost, that makes this bike amazingly good also on paved road. The brakes are the same model mounted on the Eleglide T1 (that are often mentioned as not very performant). I can confirm that they are not the best brakes you can find on a bike, but they work well and the average cyclist won't be bothered by them. Keep in mind that they will be noisy at first, but this is common with non-hydraulic disk brakes. They will settle after squeezing them while going down a hill. Personally, I am a big believer that stronger brakes would just make the bike harmful, as it is very easy to lock the wheels on the average city tarmac. One last mention regarding autonomy: I haven't really tested it yet, but I am confident that the battery will last at least 50km, as I have yet to recharge it.

Bike is west off pound
No part of the bike is available and the battery gets damaged in 3 months. Please do not purchase any bike from this company and Amazon should not sell bikes of such a rubbish company. Please do not waste cost money.

Great value for the money
Had it for a month and done about 200miles on it.The bike is very nice and lightweight. The battery life will realistically give you 60km at level assistance 3.The motor is silent and so far has worked fine giving a great push.Having a torque sensor the more you press on the pedal the stronger is the assistance...thats super. Not bad for the price and more than adeguate for commuting and light trails.Negatives:-breaks (out of the box are not the best. I mounted double piston calipers and they brake much better now-brake levers, very flimsy but they do the job-the head light is not working due to an electrical problem that as soon you pedal it turns the light off. They even sent me a replacement and still doenst work while pedaling but only with the bike stationery. Had to buy one to mount on the handlebar-not having suspensión forks bumps and uneven roads will be quite noticeble.

Much better than expected
I live at the top of a hill and struggle to get back from the shops due to a lung problem and bought this bike to go shopping. Having ridden it for a couple of weeks now it far exceeded my expectations for the price. For most of my trips I only need to use pedal assist level one. The carrier on the front is useful for putting the shopping on using an elastic. It is light weighing roughly 20 Kg so easy to lift. I have not tried riding at night yet so can't comment on the headlight. It came in a secure manufacturers cardboard box which seemed to be pretty tough. It has a side stand so you don't have to prop the bike against a wall. It comes with a throttle you could fit so you could ride it as twist and go however using it in the UK is illegal. I had a rear puncture in the second week and it was simple to get the case over the wheel rim using a couple of small levers in a Halfords repair kit, repairing the inner tube without taking the rear wheel off.On the down side the documentation could be improved as there is no mention of charging and I found the battery level indicator button by accident. The saddle I find is uncomfortable and I will change that at a future date. Also there are two sizes of bolt you have to use and the manual is not clear about where they are used. It comes with a metal stamped 8mm spanner which is useless and cross head screwdriver, better to use your own tools to assemble it.

3 months in… new favorite item
Works so well 100% recommend delivery was on time and the men were so helpful. Easy to put together with basic tools and very sturdy. The brakes did need a tighten after a few weeks but now work great. I go up and down a very long large hill when commuting 5 days a week and going up is a breeze. We couldn’t figure out how to attach the throttle but wasn’t going to use it anyways. Looks exactly like the photos. The little light is good but sometimes cuts out and I’m not confident using on very dark weather so I will purchase an extra light for the front of the bike. I have to leave it outside at work so it gets rained on and works perfectly fine. The battery needs a key to remove from bike so uneasy to steal. I think I covered everything but yes 100% reccomend

Conclusion : un excellent achat, je conseille vivement.
