SIMPLE AND RELIABLE
I have used one of these units for about 5 years., worked perfectly until I accidently drowned it. So I purchased another one. :)It records daily steps, calories. and total steps walked, also has an accurate clock too. It can be used with a belt clip; but amazingly , even just putting it in your pocket, it still works well recording steps. Only thing is, that it may not record the first few steps you make (in the house) for example. But once you start walking outside the unit catches up with the steps you took, and from then on is fairly accurate. Once you read the instructions , then its easy to set up; in fact the instruction booklet is nice and clear, with readable text. So many of these products have poor, small instructions, which are hard to read; Not the case here. Very easy to read. For me, this is probably the best pedometer I have found at its price point, and if you look after it, could last you a long time, just don't drop it in the water like I did. Highly recommended.

Great accurate pedometre
Love this product , comes with clear instructions and personalised to your stride weight and height. Sturdy with clip facility or lanyard. Clear to read and much easier than having to rely on your phone for me as slips into pocket easily. Great reliable piece of kit which is a goodsze

11 months of use and still excellent
I have been using the pedometer for the past 11 months and have found it to be excellent. I love walking and rambling, but prior to this had never owned a pedometer of any sort, so don't have pervious experiences to compare to. For the initial set-up, I didn't find the booklet useful - however, the video was clear and easy to follow and set-up didn't take very long. The most time-consuming part was setting my stride length, and even that didn't take long to do.The step count is accurate when the pedometer is in a pocket, clipped on, or in a bag. The strap was immediately discarded as it was swinging the pedometer every time I walked and gave very inaccurate readings.I really appreciate the old school vibe of the pedometer. It has a limited number of functions that work very well. If you are after something snazzy with lots of features, I would give this pedometer a miss. If you are simply interested in your step count, I would highly recommend. The only negative aspect for me is that sometimes steps are slow to be counted if I am moving from a stationary position and if there is a lot of stopping and starting, there will be a slight undercount of steps.Purchasing a pedometer has had an incredibly positive impact on me - regardless of brand I think everyone should invest in one!

Neat, Informative & A Keeper!
The least bad of my most recently bought 3 new ones. Once set up, it does a reasonable job of counting steps. If you want more info about accuracy, put one on your waist, walk 200 steps that YOU are counting, and see what the pedometer tells you you've walked. Will I keep it? Yes. Can I recommend it? Okay...yes! Good pedometers are no longer made, so this one will do. Also, I've had 2 others of these, before. I'm pleased enough!

Realalt Pedometer - better than I expected
This product looks exactly the same as the seller's display images. It comes delivered on a card sealed by very stiff plastic, likely originally designed to be on display in a store.Spending (far too many) hours at a desk every day, I have been wondering if I ever get enough excercise during the day. Walking seems to be the easiest (and least expensive) way, especially given the frequent insertions in newspapers about the benefits of walking so many thousand steps a day.It wasn't easy counting steps as I walked - my wandering brain kept forgetting where I was! - and so I decided to try a pedometer. The choice was far greater than I thought and so, thanks to the user reviews on Amazon, after checking out a number of products I decided to try this model.Setting up is simple - if you have small fingers and your mind doesn't wander! Thankfully, there are videos customers can log into online. These show exactly the same information as the instruction leaflet but using a step counter as a visual aid. What had I been doing wrong? Letting my finger press the wrong button every time! Okay, once I realised my tiny error I could get going and the little gadget was up and running.I have worn it now for almost a week and have been surprised that without even trying I have been walking far more each day than I realised. I had only to add extra steps to pass my target (which I have done every day). What's more, I've found that I wanted to pass my target and so if I was falling back a bit, I took time to do some walking. Amazing that a little thing like this could actively stimulate me into action. That aside, I have to say I was very surprised how easily I adapted to carrying this pedometer and how much I began to enjoy walking, if only to pass my daily target. There is no learning curve once it is set up and if the battery lasts a year as the seller maintains before needing to be replaced then there is likely no need to change the settings (unless you want to up your target steps). Because the unit doesn't keep records once the battery is removed, make sure you keep the instruction leaflet to refer to next time.I like this product, it isn't hugely expensive and I'm sure it will do me a lot of good. Easy 5 star rating.

A bit tricky to first set up but simple to use once you have
As long as you have all the info needed then setting up is not too difficult but you do have to be reasonably quick to do the input. Once done it is simple to use and great that it works independently
