When something is presented clearly and concisely, it is easier to learn and remember it.I recommend that anyone with an interest in orthodontics to buy this book. It is essential for anyone undergoing specialist training and for those undergraduates who would like a clear understanding of the subject, reading this book is easy and will give you an edge during clinical practice and discussions. It can be useful as a quick reference for both practicing GPs and orthodontic specialists.I bought this book when I started my specialist training in orthodontics and knew little about the subject. I am close to completing my training and have been using it very often throughout. It has been very helpful in allowing me to understand orthodontics both theoretically and clinically. I will without doubt refer to this text well in the future as well.The book covers the entire discipline of Orthodontics in a very clear and concise manner. Every major theme is nicely summarized (see table of contents) in 1-2 pages of text providing the most important and essential information about the topic in a structured manner. A few very helpful diagrams are included in each of the sections, these allowed me to easily remember the most important information.The conciseness and easy readability of the book provided me with strong knowledge base on each topic which has helped in my written assessments, clinical training, and oral examinations (VIVA) where a broad and clear understanding of orthodontics was essential.The book is only about 100 pages long but has a wealth of information which is so clearly presented. I have found this book much more useful than the thicker and more expensive textbooks which require longer to read and understand.

I teach orthodontics at a university and came across this book. I thought it provides a great simple and quick overview for general dentists getting right to the point at the most important facts. It is simple to read and understand.
