Worked for Me.
Interior use for me. Difficult to hit two studs at a true 45 degree angle, but after a bit of wrangling (much various turning of the pipe, the angles, and the flanges), was able to get 2 screws for each flange into studs, the other 2 screws used the supplied wall anchors. Would NOT recommend this using all 4 wall anchors. A good tug would surely yank it out of the drywall. Looks very good now that it is on the wall and the 2 stud-screws give it a sturdy feel. Overall pleased with the product.

Strong and durable handrail for your staircase
I bought the ZeroPone Wall Handrail 4ft for Stairs Steps,Metal Staircase Handrail for my 2 family house where the existing handrail did not reach all the way to the 2nd floor. I was looking for something that is not too long, is strong and did not want it to be bulky so as to avoid items getting stuck while carrying them upstairs.This handrail served the purpose and now I feel safe going up the stairs. Highly recommended.
