Briers B0101 Gloves, Green, Medium

My mother-in-law loved these gloves and says her last pair lasted over five years, which in her world is a long time because she literally works in the garden every single day. She loves these, swears by these, and was so thankful we bought her a pair for her birthday. A great gift!

These are definitely my favourite gardening gloves ever. We have a "wild" garden that needs taming and so I spend a lot of time dealing with nettles and brambles, these cope well with both as the silicon protects the back of your hand better than other makes - so when nettles flop over you don't end up getting stung. The withstand moderate rose thorns too.

Perfect gloves for what I needed. I was able to cut my rose bush down (curse you black spot!) and clear the shed of 13 years of 'treasure'.Even when I decided to grasp the rose stem with my hand, I only had a slight moment of realisation of how stupid I am without a huge amount of accompanying pain.I highly recommend these gloves for someone who loves to garden but doesn't always think things through.

Ordered a medium as per the sizing guide, unfortunately the finger length is not long enoughThey are wide enough but they are not comfortable, I will put up with them.I would check another manufacturers sizing guide next time incase they offer finger length

These gloves are ok but are not really that resistant to thorns. They will keep small ones at bay but if you are dealing with a bush that has quite a few, the thorns will still go through the gloves, as I found out!!

As I've bought similar gloves in the £1 shop I thought these, being the price they are, would be a much better quality, they're not. Certainly not water proof. Very disappointed.

very disappointed as these are not thorn proof I got stuck with thorns three times wearing these and was bleeding, the product colour came off on my hands which in my opinion is dangerous as I was bleeding from thorn puncture.Got full refund and disposed of in bin.That is were rubbish belongs.

Not Briers' brightest hour. Too large for a lady, even though I have very long fingers. Hot and sweaty to wear and definitely not thornproof.
