Comfortable strong walking pole
I use this as a walking stick as I have arthritis in my right knee and this helps to reduce the load on joint and so reduce the pain. It's an excellent walking pole with a very comfortably shaped hand grip. You should know that it's quite long - I'm six foot tall and use it telescoped all the way in which makes it just the right length. Shorter people may need to leave the middle section out in order to get the right length or hold the neoprene grip instead of the top part but this shouldn't cause any problems. Taller people will be delighted to find a pole that's long enough for them. The sections have a bit of a tendency to come unscrewed as you go along but this is easily fixed by a smear of thread lock and as I put the thing in the back of my estate car all in one piece having the sections locked isn't a problem to me. I only use the neoprene grip when I'm bending down to pick up dog poop - having a grip lower down the shaft is really nice when you're doing that. The pole doesn't rattle at all as you go along and it comes with a spare rubber ferrule which is a nice touch as spares don't seem to be available from the manufacturer however I did find ones that fit from the Stick and Cane Shop - they're code RF19. The pole is really strong - I regularly abuse it by bushwacking nettles and brambles with it and it's stood up to this without breaking although I did have an incident when an aggressive bramble bush ripped the ferrule off. I got it back and screwed it on with a self tapper through its side. Since then I've had no further problems despite probably a thousand miles of use.

Solid, strong and perfect!
As per the title, the walking pole/stick is ideal if you after a walking aid. Very strong and robust construction, and very aesthetically appealing (if that’s important to you). Ideal for various heights of people, and you could even leave the middle section out and adjust the height suitably with the top section if you’re a bit shorter. It is quite heavy (compared to the aluminium or other materials some poles are made of), but to be honest, for me, this just adds to the strength and quality of the construction and makes it feel solid and reliable when using it. Only slightly negative thing, as others have mentioned, is the wrist loop isn’t long enough to use when to secure it to your wrist if you want to hold the foam section of the handle, but…..for me anyway, this does not detract from the overall quality and stability of this walking pole, and so pleased I chose this over the other types of pole. Highly recommend.

Use it daily, cannot find replacement ferrules
I walk mostly on heathland just some road short distances daily. Ferrule lasted 10 months, happy with that. However cannot find details on a replacement anywhere. Cannot find manufacturer details and supplier won’t respond to messages. Have bought two packs of different ferrules but the do not fit. Thinking may have to buy another stick! I love it because I can lean on it when tackling slopes. It is robust and well made.

A quality cane...
This is a really good cane! It's my first, I find it great quality and well made. I lean heavily on it due to some back issues and it is really helping me get around. Grip and handle are excellent, I cannot fault it, and I have tried!! Just one thing though, I only require the rubber end of which 2 were supplied, ideal! But the metal point has come through the rubber. I cut some stiff fabric and pushed it into the slot point, and solved the problem. I refuse to score it down from 5 stars as it otherwise perfect.

Not fit for purpose.
It's not stable when put together. I always use a walking stick, can't leave the house without one. I thought I'd get a collapsible one for train journeys. I didn't even get two steps out of my front door when a major problem occured. I was merely holding it with my arm resting on the top, with no additional body weight on the stick. And yet it was visibly bowing. I took it apart, rebuilt it thinking that would sort the problem but no. The same issue occured. Shame, I was happy when it arrived. At least the return and refund was quick and painless.

Could have been great.
Can't get ferrules for this stick so pointless really also sections keep loosening and lock for extending doesn't grip tight enough however could gave been a great stick as is very comfortable when using.

Excellent hiking pole.
Excellent hiking pole. Well made and fits together very well. Spare ferrule included. Height adjustment is easy and covers a wide range. Will be excellent for road and cross country walking. Folds down to parts and is easy to store, even in smaller rucksack.

Pratique.

Buena madera, malos aprietes...
