ZedLabz Assecure Crystal Hard Case Cover Shell for Nintendo 3DS XL LL Protective Armo...

I picked up the ZedLabz case after seeing how it connects together, ultimately creating a new hinge between the top and bottom screens of the console. I had a similar case for the DS Lite that did a great job in holding together a damaged console. This case unfortunately doesn't manage that.It's still sturdy and holds together well on a console that has good hinges to support it, and I like the transparent version a lot for limited edition consoles that you might want to see the design of. For the price, it really is decent value.

I bought this product to protect a limited edition XL. After over a month of use, I can say that that is a job it does do! I had a bit of trouble taking it off again to clean debris that had gotten under there after the first trial application but all in all, as long as you fit the hinges at the sides of the 3DS together properly before applying, you should have no issue fitting this. Access to all ports, buttons and cameras is given and this case in no way obstructs normal use and does not add much weight. In terms of removal, I've found the easiest way is to get a good hold on the corners of the case (NOT the corners of the 3DS itself) and then further down (towards the hinge of the screens) push on the case and 3DS to coax it out while holding onto the corners of just the case further up to force them apart. Not the easiest thing to describe, but easy enough to figure out.As must be obvious by now, the case sits tightly and securely on the console and can certainly take a few knocks - I actually took my 3DS with me in this case, loose in my bag getting knocked around as I ran the race for life. The consequences? A big scuff and a few scratches, yes, but an intact console. This case does suffer aesthetic damage easily and, when off, does feel a bit fragile and easy to snap, but for the price and the fact that it protects something worth much more, you can't argue. Bargain!

Since I bought a purple protective case for my Ds Lite (which I no longer own) I wanted something for my new shiny 3DSXL. I found the console slippery to hold, and I was afraid of it slipping out of my hands. Since it was white, and me and white do not necessarily get on, I decided to get a hard case for it, in a colourless plastic. (Why white? At the time it was the only one left in the store I purchased it from). As soon as my cover shell arrived I had to purchase another one, since my mother wanted one for her shiny silver 3DSXL.Yes, it looked nicer on the silver 3DSXL, but I solved that by plonking a sticker on mine to break up the whiteness...of a cute hamster (since I am hamster crazy, and I own 5 of the little animals). Overall, both me and my mother are happy with these cases because they add some protection, and the consoles are easier to grip.Bare in mind that the shell cases do add some extra bulk to the consoles if you are putting them in a carry case for extra security, so some cases might be a bit too small.

I bought this product (clear) to protect my white 3DS XL from scratches.Ordered it on Sunday, received on Wednesday and put on right away.The case fits perfect the dimensions, not too tight and not lose at all. Everything is still accessible (SD card, stylus, game catridge etc).This product is not made off highest quality plastic, means should I drop it I don't believe the case will protect my 3DS much, but with the tight fit it will avoid for sure any scratches or marks.Additional to the protection it makes the device slightly bigger and therefore easier to use for any adult with average to big hands. Without the case playing on the 3DS got uncomfortable.Overall for less than 5£ and free delivery I'd suggest getting this product to everyone, if not using a different tight fitting accessory (such as external battery etc.)

Was a little sceptical about ordering a clear case as I've ordered some for phones before and they've arrived all scratched and not very nice.Not the case with this 3DSXL cover, it arrived completely wrapped in plastic meaning it was extremely clean and scratch free, though not particularly attractive if you intended to give the case as a gift.I've not long bought a Zelda 3DSXL and wanted to protect the stunning art work which this does brilliantly; clips into place with no fuss and actually seems to fix some of the 3DSXLs design flaws - I've stopped knocking the volume control involuntarily; the underside where my hand rests is much more comfortable and most significantly, it helps keep the top screen of the 3DS in place. If you're worried about the loose hinge on your machine as I was (which is apparently just a design quirk) then this cover works well at keeping it a bit more rigid.Completely recommended for the money, and I found even with this cover on the machine still fit comfortably into my 3DSXL pouch. Brilliant.

When handling something as expensive as your 3DS XL, you want a case that you KNOW will do the job especially if the system is being used often by kids.I've been using this a little over a week and have yet to find any notable flaw or have any problems. The case is quite large and you're going to notice the weight difference when it's attached, which for me personally is a good thing, as it really helps it come across as a case that's going to be able to take a bashing and keep the device intact.The case doesn't cover up any ports, camera lenses, charging lights or anything like that and doesn't get in the way when using the controls. It may take a few minutes to get used to playing with it on, but once you're used to it it really does feel satisfying to know the system is well protected.Can't really say enough about this item to be honest, it really serves it's purpose brilliantly and practically and is very fairly priced.
