Really pleasant but not overpowering vanilla scent. Strong hold as described, has a tacky almost clay-like feel when applied, takes some working to get covered in the stuff. Works great when applied well, performance is accurate to how it's described on packaging which is nice.

My hair curls and doesn't care what you want it to do, it does what it likes. But not anymore. Big guy, so I get warm in any heat, but being oil based there's no chance of sweating this out. It's more for hold than shine, so if you want that kind of classic 50s shine you maybe want the lesser hold version. This was for a stage show, but I'll be using it myself despite never usually using anything.

I have naturally thick and curly hair. It's practically untameable, for some genetic reference, I'm of Sri Lankan origin and my hair resists most things I put in it. The product isn't the easiest to put in, but from what I've heard of other pomade's it's really good. Smells great and holds well for a long time. If I tried to slick back my hair the curls would break through, I guess I'd need to straighten my hair for it to work like that, but for the style I wanted it worked really well.

Ordered on the 9th of August and arrived today (15th of Aug). Seeing as it came from California (I'm from London) I am super impressed by the delivery time. Amazing product, purchased thanks to The Pomps' review of it. 4 stars so far but mostly likely a 5 out of 5...just need to go try it now! P.S. Thank you Pomade Club for the sticker as well haha! Dont like it much, it makes little white balls when warmed and applied. I didin't feel such a control and qualitative shaping of the hairs. It was recommended by a YouTube review video, and i am a little disappointed.

Nice smell and held its hold all day and I have thick wavy hair would definitely use again

I've experienced some hair fall after using this product rather than that this is the ultimate product- desired style, nice smooth hold doesn't stick feels like u have applied nothing. Great smell.

Hands down the strongest holding pomade I've ever tried. I used to use water based pomades but made the switch over once I started growing a pompadour. Has a great texture and very light vanilla scent. Very easy to comb through for a heavy hold, not too much shine but still has some shine in the light. Scoops out easily. Hair stays soft and flexible and is easily re combed or styled if needed. Warms up easily in hands. Have not noticed or experienced any staining or greasing on pillow cases or shirt collars which is a huge plus if you work in the office or wear collared dress shirts, etc. Does not wash out with basic shampoo so I would recommend using some dish soap like dawn and a fine tooth comb to comb through and remove if you need to degrease. You will never go back to a water based pomade once you try this stuff. I'm a barber and I recommend this if you understand how old school pomades work and are okay with it not washing out easily. One of the best if not the best holding pomades on the market, great for thermal styling, rock a billy styles, pompadours that require strong hold, and all the greasers out there that need a strong hold. I also have pretty sensitive skin when it comes to products and my forehead and this stuff doesn't cause me to breakout and is not too greasy. Very satisfied and worked as expected! Hope this helps from an independent barber and somebody who never tried a classic pomade before.
