Got this for a friend that I've known for a while (almost 40 years). I'm not a prank person. But this was too good to pass up. She opened the wrapping, and slowly turned the box over and over. I could tell she was struggling to be polite. It was hilarious and I had a hard time trying not to smile. Then she said, "Wow! Can't wait to try this out!" Of course, there's no way you can fit a coffee maker and a shower head in a box this size, but no one seems to realize that after the initial shock. So most people that receive these will look at it, try to figure out what to say/do, and then put the box down. You CAN'T let them move on to the next gift/subject. So my advice is to say something like, "It's amazing that they fit all of that in the box! Open it up and see for yourself!" That's the FUN part -when they realize it's a joke. Then they giggle, a mixture of embarrassment and relief. I won't call them naive, because there's so many REAL As Seen on TV-type gifts that are the same, and the packaging is so darned convincing that nearly ANYONE will fall for it. hell, I'd fall for it if I had no idea what it was, but I'd also open the box to see the coolness for myself, because that's normally what I'd do. Speaking of, when the person opens the box, they might see a two side flaps, one says "PRANK YOU" and the other "You've been pranked". But having given three of these out, NO ONE except my husband saw THE HUGE BLACK ON YELLOW LETTERS upon opening it. I contribute that to the shock thing. I've heard that these are at Walmart for less, so I'm gonna have to check that out. I think this would be a FANTASTIC part of a white elephant gift, or a birthday, or anywhere there's a crowd, seriously. It's that good. It's hilarious. But once you prank someone, the jig is up. The box is good enough it can be reused a few times or kept for display. I encouraged my recipients to prank someone else so the fun could continue on...it's kind of like a prank it forward of sorts! Oh, and this is made in the USA. So I have NO PROBLEM paying for these. And the cost...psssht. Big deal if it's over $5. You're paying for the artwork and the entertainment factor. Don't get all wound up over it. A greeting card can be nearly as much cashola.

I love these, so glad to see these, and they are just as funny and outrageous as the original. I laugh as much as the recipients do. This one still makes me laugh out loud just thinking about it. "Avoid the Elm leaves!!". Well thought out, that silly funny clever marketing stuff that makes anyone laugh. It's a gift to wrap around another gift! Built my son a RetroPie with wireless PS3 controllers, all the roms, along with hdmi and power cables. A handmade gift in the 21st century! He's got no idea it's coming, the box I used for the gift fits in this box perfectly, and it's so funny you can't help but burst out and lol for real. The raking kids manic and crazy face while taking for his life is worth the price of the box, I laugh every time. He's going to love it as much as I do! These are such fun boxes, they really take a gift to new heights. Not for everyone, but for the right recipient, watching the face and playing the item off as real, as if you LOVE the item, adds to the fun until they figure out it's a joke. A tradition with me, always keep a few of these around.

This is a fun product. You can place an actual gift inside. It's worth the look on someone's face when they look at the box and think that this is the actual gift. Reasonably priced, looks like the actual fake gift and lots of fun. I purchased a bunch of different types. Absolutely worth it. Super-fast deliver. I use these boxes and can recommend them.

These boxes are the best. It is so funny watching their reaction when they unwrap these boxes. O Toe Tunes my friend was actually a little bummed it wasn't speakers for her feet. lol.

These gift boxes are really quite hilarious. It takes a while for the recipient of the gift to know it's a prank because of the quality of the box. The material thickness and print quality is really outstanding. I enjoy using these prank gift boxes so much that I asked for them back so I can continue to gift them to others and watch the look on their faces trying to figure out if what's seen on the packaging really is what's inside the box. This is very clever!

I bought this to put a gift card in and don't regret the purchase. However, the box is a bit small as far as height for what is supposed to be the prank gift, a cheese printer. So it kind of is hard to sell as a prank that there is some sort of "cheese printer" in there. If the box had more realistic dimensions to match what the prank gift should be I think it would work better . Also the material of the box is rather thin and flimsy. So that also doesn't sell the prank well since real electronic items are usually in thicker packaging. That said it still worked for a laugh. I put some packaging materials and pieces of wood inside to add weight with the gift card. My gift recipient had a good laugh when they first saw the box after unwrapping it. They even commented later that they would not have minded if there was an actual thing as a cheese printer. They also said they will keep the box to prank someone later. So I guess it served its job and I got my money's worth.

I gave this to my sister at her birthday dinner, party of 8 - it was sooooo much fun! I really set her up before she opened it. I told her I had seen this item (inside the wrapped present) in the store and thought it was such a great idea I couldn't pass it up and bought us both one. After she opened the wrapping and saw the box, which was then passed around the table for all to see, she went from an initial "oooh, ahhhh, wow" expression to eyeing it with a skeptical look and looking at me for confirmation that I really thought it was a good idea (the older sister she trusts) while I continued to maintain a straight face and excitedly point out it's virtue's "It holds shampoo and conditioner and I think you can pre-program it to have the coffee ready when you get in the shower." Her husband read from the box "Uses standard 120v outlet!" to which he added "In the shower.... your sister is trying to kill you." The fun went on for awhile with several real gems in how party members reacted. I have it all on video. By the time my sister opened the box (at my insistence, presumably to see if one of the three different shower heads pictured on the box was included) I had them so sold on it I was afraid they were going to be disappointed that it was a prank. We all laughed about this through-out the dinner. "So let's say you have company over and you say "Would you like some coffee. I made a fresh pot. It is upstairs, in the bathroom off the master bedroom, in the shower. Help yourself. Sugar and cream are next to the bathroom sink." Hahaha - the absurdity. So much fun. I highly recommend the Prank Pack Bathe & Brew box. It was the hit of the party.

Funny gag box to put your gift in. The glossy photos makes the box look real. I'm always trying to find fun ways to give cash to my nephews. Used this box and I weighted it so it felt and sounded like shoes if you shook it. Whole family was fooled - everyone wanted to see what these "ToeTunes" slippers were like. Surprise - it's cash! Great laughs all around!

I should have read the description more carefully as we bought this thinking it was actually laundry sheets but it's just the box. Having said that, it is a good box and we put the People of Walmart colouring book inside along with some pencil crayons and unscented laundry sheets. Then we told the recipient (winner of the grand prize) that the bacon smell would come out with the heat from the dryer. They were worried about their dog staying away from them - lol!! Comes with an impossible maze that we gave everyone to do to try to get the prize. Fun gift swapping party for sure.
