These are ideal for morning coffee and evening tea, holding the heat well without being scorching to the touch. The handle fits my XL fingers without a problem. I wouldn't hand one full of soup to a child, now that I think about it, as their little hands can't get a good grip on the loop, nor can a larger can's-worth of chunky soup for adults fit.Microwaving has been no problem, despite the contradicting directions regarding lid usage while microwaving. As someone noted here, these cups don't hold the heat any better than cheaper mugs. I love the pretty colors first thing in the morning, though, so consider them well worth the money, especially after seeing single, ugly mugs for $15.

Prettier than I expected and the lids fit good and tight. Have not used them as they are going to be a gift.

These are fantastic mugs. Feel nice and solid, use them for coffee, soup, ice cream, tea and still finding other uses. The lids are a great added bonus and would highly recommend these to any and everyone

Very nice, just what I wanted!

These are very well made. They are thick, comfortable handles and they can hold a perfect amount of soup for a meal. The lids fit easily and work great for warming food. The colors didn't seem as bright as on the Amazon page, but that may have simply been the difficulty of matching colors on a monitor. Definitely would recommend these to anyone looking to buy soup mugs.

This cup is by far the largest I have found, looks great, but does not keep coffee warm, good size for soups and oatmeal

These were designed to perfection imo. Just be careful to always grab them by the handle when removing them from the microwave as the bowls themselves become quite hot (but the handles remain cool - so you don't need mittens to remove them if you stick with just touching the handle, which is nice). They look nice and the plastic top is perfect for my usage. The only thing I would point out is the stopper at the top doesn't snap closed perfectly, so it will always be at least a little open allowing steam to escape. Not sure I would ever need a sealed shut bowl for a recipe, so to me this is no big deal as I always want steam to escape at least a little. To be clear, the plastic top seals great, I'm referring to the little hole plug in the top - you can kinda close it to retain some steam if that's what you want, but the internal pressure will pop it out if you try to close it completely - adjusting how much you close it can regulate the amount of steam you want to allow, but it won't completely snap closed. If you want a perfectly sealed bowl for the microwave, these aren't that. But if you want to heat up stuff and want a small hole to allow some amount of steam to escape, these are great.
