Are their parts that are necessary but sold separately?** A: It's simple, just plug and play. All you need to do is take the wireless USB transmitter and plug it into your console or PC and it is instantly recognized and is working. It comes with everything you need the headset, charging cable, wireless USB transmitter, and a audio cable. **Q: How does the headset feel while wearing glasses after a few hours?** A: I have a smaller head than most, but this is the only headset that is 100% comfortable for me to wear for extended periods of time. **Q: What do you do with a faulty headset from day one and can't get support to do anything but give an automated response that they will get back to you?** A: We have had to save money for a few months and buy turtle beach wired headset because we are too afraid to try wireless again. Ridiculous **Q: Sounds are coming in opposite on mine. I hear gun shots and foot steps etc . But they are actually on other side im hearing them..** A: Why I can’t get the mic to work I can hear but can’t talk ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars No wires anywhere. Great sound *by O***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 October 2017* Really nice sound: crisp, clear and smooth, deep base, zero distortion.Comfy wear.Quite beautifully designed.Easy to plug and play: I charged the headset with included USB cable. The lights pulse indicating charge. Stopped pulsing when charged. I unplugged the charge cable, plugged the dongle into xbox1 while it was off ( just in case, I switched Xbox 1 off by pressing main power button for at least ten seconds for a full reset) , switched on xbox1. The headset icon appeared alongside the controller battery indicator in homescreen. I pressed the circular headset button set into the left earphone for 3 seconds to turn on the headset. Lights come on. That's it. It worked great.Notes might help because manual not necessarily clear: Toggle the microphone on/off by single-pressing ear button. Note that chat-speak only comes through headphones and NEVER the TV (at least in Battlefield or Xbox 1 home- you can now speak to Cortana btw without a Kinnect). Long-press to switch it off. A second smaller button right next to the microphone toggles between normal and rich-base sounds. If you press the second button for a long time, it cycles which colour you want the lights to be, including lights off. Let go of button when it reaches colour (or off) you want. There's no need to bend the microphone boom at all. You can leave it straight. It works really well and quality actually degrades if you move it too close, plus leaving it straight out means you can still drink etc without hassle. I'm really impressedI think the reviewer who complained the microphone rubbed their shoulder must have been wearing them back-to-front LOL ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Decent Headset *by D***K on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 October 2022* Cheaper versions I've found have poor sound quality or the mic stops working after a few weeks. This is comfortable and decent quality don't bother with the cheaper ones up to Β£20 you will either pay twice or end up buying this. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Good value for money headset. *by K***W on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 September 2017* This headset has been used on Xbox Live for my son to speak to his cousins whilst playing Fifa and he says it works well. It's fairly sturdy and well built, its a good fit on my son's head and he says it is comfortable to wear. You need to remember that it's plugged into the controller though or headsets and / or controllers will be flying everywhere due to the wired connection! Overall I'd say this is a good value for money headset. Serious gamers might want something more expensive but it worked fine for us! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hu/products/50525424-afterglow-ag-9-wireless-headset-xbox-one](https://www.desertcart.hu/products/50525424-afterglow-ag-9-wireless-headset-xbox-one) --- *Product available on Desertcart Hungary* *Store origin: HU* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
